The hostel market itself much higher than what it is. The location is good - even very good - I can't take that away from them. But we paid around 500 RMB for 1 night (2 people) for nothing more than average. The room was decent size, not the cleanest and defiantly not the newest! the carpets were not clean (throughout our floor) and the walls were thin as paper. I needed to knock on the wall to keep my neighbors quiet. It was ok - but next time I'll prefer an hotel / different guest house.
Great place to stay and close to the main shopping areas! Very clean and staff extremely friendly. The breakfast they offer is very basic and a little expensive for what it is.

Turns out that this hostel is also a love hotel... It is only advertised at night outside the "hostel." 100 rmb for four hours...
Excellent location, rooms were clean and homly.. Nice touch having split living/bedroom area. Not many ammimiities inside the hostel, but the centre is a quick 3 minute walk so it doesn't matter too much. Two receptionists were lovely and helpful, Paris (day staff) was very polite, helped with directions and aviced us around shanghai.. Also the night receptionist was lovely.. Again very helpful! Shame the rest of the team aren't so great with there manners.
Great location - walking distance to everything in the heart of Shanghai. Good sized room with facilities. Lovely helpful staff who organised our night at the acrobatics show for us. We really enjoyed our stay here!
