We cannot recommend this hostel highly enough. The staff continually went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Peter the owner even went our to buy us beer and organized pizza delivery whilst we sat and watched Euro vision.. What a champ! This is the place to stay!!!

The staff and service at Shanti are friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The location is great. There are lockers available in the rooms, although a hostel is always going to be less secure in a hostel than a hotel. Overall, I highly recommend Shanti!

Great hostel!!

Right near the bus station, easy to find. Short walk past some cool bars along the river to the city centre. Staff really helpful and will look after you very well. Asso very secure with 24 hour reception. Very comfortable homely feel to the place. Would def recommend

JUST AWESOME.....These young guys took care of everything I needed...The FREE laundry,breakfast,coffee,travel advice etc was wonderful....What made my trip was meeting and hanging out with such a nice bunch of travellers....Not everyone makes it to Skopje..but the ones that do were really special....I checked out the other hostels but Im soooo glad I chose to stay here....Priceless.......

I highly recommend this hostel. The staff are amazing and your bound to meet other travelers during your stay.

We liked this hostel so much we came back after staying in Ohrid for a night. The staff are so friendly it hurts! This time we found the tea :-)

We all loved our stay at shanti hostel. Despite us being a rowdy bunch of 7 brits the hostel staff were endlessly helpful and patient. Their recommendations were all spot on, and the other guests were friendly. It was only a short walk into town for the bars. Had a bit of trouble with taxi drivers and getting lost, but I blame the taxi drivers for not knowing where the best rated hostel in the town is! One of our group grumbled that there was no english tea, but that was our only complaint. ;-)

L\'endroit est très sympathique et l\'accueil très chaleureux et le personnel rivalise avec l\'office de tourisme. Mais le lieu est un peu exigu et manque de sanitaires pour le nombre de résidents. Le plus, l\'accès à la cuisine à toute heure de la journée et cadre très agréable.

You will not regret to stay in this hostel. You will feel like staying at home.

Shanti is one of the best hostels I have ever been! Location is perfect and staff extremly kind and helpful. There I felt like I m sitting in my own livingroom. One word-perfect!

Great hostel. Near the city centre and very close to bus station so if you're planning arrive late or planning to leave very early in the morning (by bus), this is the hostel to consider. Close to a supermarket as well. Very friendly staff.

This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in, with the best people as well. The layout of the hostel is completely perfect for interaction, patios, common room. The owners completely put the guests needs first. One night a group of us were going to dinner and we were waiting for a cab but they insisted to drive us! It's location so close to the bus station made it super easy as well!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything is clean. 5 minute walk from the train/bus station. Great hostel.
