Both location and staff are great. I stayed in the dorm. The 4-bed dorms actually have a "bathroom nook." However this brought more drawbacks than positives. Since my room had no window, this became the source of permanent mustiness. The dormitory rooms are very small, I was lucky to be alone there all the time. If staying, ask for the 107 room. This is my first time in Shaoxing where it's famous for its rivers and the riverside culture and I got to experience them all in this hostel. The owner has put so much effort in decorating the hostel with woodern curved boxes, the gigantic Gongs in reception area and all that.
The rooms are extremely spacious with balconies looking over the sideroad filled with French white poplar.
