Its a nuisance that the toilets and shower blocks are located so far from the dporms

Great Night Stay! Enjoyed the staff and the people!

We had a basement internal room, with no ventilation in the bathroom and the shower drainage was poor which lead a very unpleasant smell to the room. The room was under the stairs and next to the kitchen which meant late night and early morning noise.

Paddy who works on the reception desk was very friendly and informative. He recomended a motorcycle eeoute for us, which we followed. This helped make our stay in Ireland one of the best trips i have had for a while. Thank you Paddy :o)

Very nice staff but there was a bit too much noises near the dorms late at night. Still had a great stay and would recommend the hostel to a friend.

Good crowd. alot of students if you dont mind cooking! Very central, mccurtain street is very popular with the younger crowd, and there are lots of cheap good places to eat. Highly recommended!

The hostel was very close to the centre of Cork and very easy to find from the Parnell Place Bus station. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were of average cleanliness. The staff were knowledgeable and available 24/7.

Way too big of a place- but warm not hot water, nice big kitchen for meeting people, a hidden terrace but just too large with too many people in a maze of a hostel that shuts down quite early

No one bothered to stop the drunken crowd from shouting for hours in the lobby - it is public are an some consideration for others should be forced onto them... But no, it didnt happen. Apart from that not a bad place, just bit too far from the city center.

Adequate facilities - needs a good cleaning. My green Celtic print scarf was stolen. The staff seemed bothered by my questions. Enjoyed their laundry service . The facility was difficult for me to locate and there is a steep hill just after a sharp turn and in a standard shift car was on the hard side to maneuver. I did get to park in the lot at the hostel so I felt good about leaving my car to take a walk across the river and into town center. It was a busy couple of days at the hostel.

The rooms are like any other hostel in Ireland. Location of the Hostel is close by to the city and has good parking space as well. However, the bathrooms and toilets are not good. There were only 2 rest rooms in total located at the basement and 2nd floor respectively.2 for entire hostel is the worst thing i have ever seen anywhere in Ireland. The showers are are not that good enough. You feel that you are taking shower in a shopping mall changing room. Except these all other facilities are good.

Don't do it. Freezing cold bedrooms, breakfast not included, weird atmosphere.bdefinitely not worth the price

The atmosphere was great and everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit of a tight squeeze, with not a lot of space for people and their luggage, but it was clean. LOVED the sauna! What a brilliant idea. Breakfast could've been improved and the coffee was dreadful, but I'd stay again!
