The rooms are the smallest I have ever stayed in. Absolutely ridiculous. On hostel world it says there is parking. When we arrived in the night we were told we needed a chip to park. However they were available from the hostel. I think that is pretty silly.

The rooms feel more like jail cells. Nothing horrible but certainly not spectacular either.

Dirtiest place I've stayed in all around Ireland. The staff was rude. It doesn't include a breakfast unless you want to pay 3 euro for some cereal. Rip off. Was not worth the money what so ever. Shame on that place. There are plenty of other good hostels. Do not stay at this one!

The hostel is located on a hill so difficult to access. The staff is really nice and really hard working (they clean the bathroom every hours). But there is not enough bathrooms and toilets for the tourist. Only one toilet for almost 25 persons and there is only 70 persons max in the hostel. When we went there were a lot of people who are staying at the hostel while waiting for an accommodation. Really crowed and kitchen pretty dirty One of the bed was broken

The only positive things to say about this hostel are, that the staff was pretty friendly and that the location isn't that bad. Everything else was rather poorly. Tiny rooms (no space to keep your things) and loudly squeaky beds. Common room and kitchen smelled odd and were not-so-clean. Shower didn't work properly. Breakfast not included (3 Euro), use of internet not included (1 Euro). All in all the costs of this hostel are much to high comapred to what you get and compared to other hostels.

We found our room very narrow and cramped, making us borderline claustrophobic. Overall the facilities were good though and the staff quite helpful. Common areas were well kept and comfortable. Walk-able access to good bars and downtown made the hostel appealing.

Really nice hostel. Staff is friendly and there is A great atmosphere. It is also near the center of Cork and I do recommend this place. Especially if you are traveling around and don't mind sleeping in a shared bedroom for a few nights instead of a hotel.

Good hostel but they could clean the bedrooms everyday, the my one was filthy.

There aren't that many options in Cork, so you kind of have to make due. Everything felt like it was covered in a layer of filth, the kitchen was way too crowded to use, regardless of the time of day. There was absolutely no room in the fridges at all. The beds in the room are extremely close together, and it was just uncomfortable all around.

Great Hostel with a great reception area for all your little questions. Facilities were clean and tidy and definitely not as old and run down as others we stay in in Ireland. I would definitely recommend this Hostel - however it would be a 15-20min walk to the city, we had a car so this wasn't a problem.

Good facilities and you have lockers where you can keep your bags during the day, which is great. Location is great as well. 6 bed dorms are awkward as there isn't a lot of space to move around or even to put your bags. It's definitely a big hostel, so if you're looking for a smaller, cosier kind of hostel, this is not the one.

The room was really claustrophobic with very little floor space between the 3 beds. The bathroom/shower rooms were all very tiny and cramped, and also slightly dirty. We also thought it was kinda stupid that breakfast was 3€ when every other hostel we've been too (10 ) have had free breakfast.

Had to pay for parking which is €1 per hour and they don't even sell the parking permits at the hostel, and the shop they sent me to didn't even have any in stock. Very stressful and expensive. Breakfast was an extra €3 ontop of a rather expensive room. ALL of the doors creaked and slammed so had a very noisy night and the bathrooms were really gross...also our bunk bed creaked so loudly at just the slightest movement. Definitely not worth the money, will not be staying again

Very friendly staff, good facilities, good opportunities to meet other travellers.

The staff was friendly, hostel was central but in the dorms it felt like we're in prison - only one source of light, dark rooms - basically it just wasn't a cosy and nice place to stay. You wouldn't want to mention the bathrooms ... (Dirty!).

The hostel was great. The staff were fantastic and they made great recommendations about what to do, making our trip very memorable! My only complaint was that the bathrooms weren't the cleanest, which could be improved.

More place to put Stuff in the batroom and more plug in the room and a inclued breakfast

Very friendly staff. Nice and clean hostel.

The staff were very nice and had no real problems. Good times in cork.

Stayed two nights at Sheila's hostel. Our family did not get any sleep because partygoers are very loud after midnight with no concern for others. Reported this problem to staff and had to report it a second time 20 min later since staff did not do anything to resolve the problem. Was not very happy getting out of bed twice after midnight. It quieted down finally until 3:00 a.m. when partygoers came in singing, talking, and banging on doors. Wore ear plugs on the second night!
