8 bed dorm rather squashy with no room for luggage. Common areas generally good but also not a lot of room for amount of people. Lots of groups in hostel made it a little hard to meet people if travelling on own. Lack of powerpoints in rooms was annoying. Limited number of showers, although showers were good. Staff very friendly and helpful in pointing out things to do and see in Cork.
I got stung by a wasp in there games room because they just leave their door open all day. And have you ever wanted to have the coldest shower of your life. Well go here then. And its not really close to anything of much intrest. Over all not my favorite spot.
The hostel is well locatedvery near the bus station and the main shopping streets. The staff is nice and very informative and the hostel is quite clean (some parts of the kitchen nbot very much). What I disliked was that the room was a hallway and there wasn't enough space and the kids running during the night. Breakfast is not included but they offer a continental one for 3 euros. I didn't try it but it was the typical: cereals, toasts and juices.
Thought the 10.30am check out was on the early side.
Rooms are ridiculously tiny. I dnt know why they put so many beds in one room, no body can move. The hot water is non existent. I had two freezing cold showers despite being assured that the hot water had been fixed. I asked several people staying in the hostel and none of them had had a hot shower during their stay. It wasn't just cold, it was freezing!
There was a lot of tremendous food smell in the corridor. We could'nt open the door without being covered. For the rest is a normal Hostel with standard rooms and breakast at the price of 3€ (Toasts,Tea-Milk-Coffee)
My room was a bit tight. I had a cold shower.
Ideally located, decent atmosphere, well equipped kitchen and friendly staff
Good location and staff but small room and bathroom.
I wouldn't stay here again as it's in need of a little TLC...rooms are overly filled with beds, beds are too small, few toilets/showers, noisy, too far from The Franciscan Well Brewery, etc. Nice staff. Breakfast? Poor.
The hostel and staff were super nice and very helpful! Bathrooms and rooms were clean, spacious showers. Beds weren't the most comfortable. The location was good and not too far from the train station or center of town. Over all, not a bad stay.
Stayed at Sheila's beginning of Aug '13 for 3 nights in 6 female dorm. It was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a common area downstairs but there wasn't much interaction because that's the only place you can get wifi (kind of annoying). My friend and I also had some clothes stolen from one of roommates (the only one with an under the bed locker HA), so that sucked too. Despite the VERY steep hill it's on, it's a good location, and overall I would recommend.

Our bedroom just had a window in the bathroom but was comfortable. The hostel is close to the town center. The kitchen is very big and well equipped. The staff is nice and efficient.
The price was worth it. But they should clean more often the bathrooms. The smell was very bad.
Really big kitchen, not too far to walk into the town centre. Nice patio area BUT rooms a bit small and not enough toilet/shower facilities!
A nice and busy hostel, clean and a good organisation.
Great place to stay, also the guy at the front desk enjoyed telling his guests about tours places to see etc awsome man!!!

Room are too small , there's no space for baggage and u cant walk withouth hurting something, WC wasn't so clean , breakfast not included and not so close to the bus station
You do only have acces to the internet when you're in the common room. Nowhere else! That's not okay if it says 'free wifi'. I'd expect something else..
