The staff was very friendly and we had all the things we needed. The only thing is that we could hear other guest during the night and in the morning.

staff was awesome in giving feedback about good spots in the city. There's a common area with a kitchen and places to eat, great opportunity to meet others! Had trouble falling asleep because it was noisy but other than that it was an amazing stay!

I really liked the big kitchen! The room I stayed in was rather small and narrow but it was still very comfortable!

The room was extremely tiny, you were barley hable to walk through it. The ventilataion it was very poor, just one window at the very end of the room. The isolation was inexistent, therfore all the noises weren't mitigated at all. Having a group of german teangeers shouting at 3 am doesn't help that much, I am aware that tisn't the fault of the hostel. The kitchen ventilation system was beside the unique window, the garlic smell didn't help to improve the atmosphere.

I always stay here when I come to Cork because it's such a lovely hostel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Other guests are nice. The kitchen is great-nice to save some money by making my own food. I've usually had a nice quiet night's sleep too which is unusual in a hostel! Very clean.

It appears profit is the optimal word here , the Hostel and the amenities are outdated and exploitive of its Guests, Hodgepodge layout of facility Old and decrepid. For instance having stayed at many Hostels over years of travels havnt encountered the outdated internet stations that add additional charges to the Guests base accommodation (cheap and another opportunity to squeeze the budget traveler) the Breakfast was extrmely CHEAP & $$ very small cereal bowls the size of Doll tea cups--POOR !

Everything is tidy, clean and organized. The only problem is the internet, does not work properly, goes down every 10 minutes and the showers are not very hot.

Very helpful in finding things and gave great suggestions for things to do and where to eat and just as good at giving directions too them if I'm ever in the area I'll be staying here

Very friendly staff. They even booked a taxi for us for the next morning!

Overall comfortable enough. They charge you for absolutely everything, though--internet time, computer use, luggage storage, breakfast. So be aware that things might add up. Pretty clean, nice location, serviceable. Unpleasant atmosphere, though, but that shouldn't matter if you're going out and about.

Good hostel with great staff. My only negative would be the temperature of the rooms. No heat till very late in the day.

the location was nice; no more than 20 min walk from anywhere, kitchen was nice and spacious, and the lady at the front desk was super helpful! The hostel is well signed and easy to find, even at night, although the trek up the hill to the hostel was hard at the end of a long day!

The location is just a short walk up the hill from the bus station and the river, close to lots of restaurants and bars. The kitchen was very large and there were multiple common areas. They even had a small movie theatre with lots of movies to choose from for free. The staff was helpful and had good recommendations.

Young environment, nice staff, good location. Good value to spend some days in Cork
