Our Christian hostel offers great value for money, with bed, breakfast, sheets, hot showers and a locker for the best prices in Amsterdam. Here you can enjoy our clean and comfortable accommodation and friendly international atmosphere. Providing so much for so little, Shelter Jordan is definitely the best deal you can get in Amsterdam.
We're located in the city centre, a short walk from Central Station. Most of the main tourist attractions are within walking distance.
Shelter City has four-,five-, six-, eight-, and 18-bed single-sex dorms. The larger dorms are divided into smaller sections to provide the privacy you'd like. Our budget price includes breakfast, linen, hot showers, a locker and all taxes. These are the best-value beds in town. Compared with our sister hostel in Amsterdam, Shelter City, Shelter Jordan is smaller (98 beds), is cosy, and is located in a quieter part of the city centre.
You'll get so much more than just a good night's sleep at an affordable price. The hostel not only provides excellent facilities, but also has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All of our international staff speak English and will be pleased to help you. The hostel has a garden terrace and a great café where you can get something to eat or drink, relax and meet people from all over the world, or use the Internet.
Our location in the quiet and picturesque Jordaan area makes it easy to explore Amsterdam. The hostel is close to the Anne Frank house, Leidse square and Dam square.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 2 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Check-in: 1330. This hostel is smoke-free, drug-free and alcohol-free. We have a 48hr cancellation policy. If you want to cancel your reservation, email or phone us before midnight (Amsterdam time) two days before your arrival date. Late cancellations and no-shows shall be charged the equivalent of the first night's accommodation. These conditions also apply if the date of arrival has been changed by phone or email. There is an extra charge of 5 Euro if you make a group booking for just one night and it's a Friday, Saturday, or 17, 18, 19, 25, 26, 27 May or 28, 29, 30, 31 December 2012. You can smoke cigarettes in the courtyard. There's no curfew or lockout. Animals are not permitted. If you have booked the four-person room for two or more people, we can't guarantee you'll be put in the same room but we'll try our best. Our dorms are segregated by gender; if you book the wrong room we can't guarantee your accommodation. There are free lockers. Please bring your own padlock or buy one at reception. If the lock is built into the locker you can borrow the key for a 10 Euro deposit. There is a 10 Euro key deposit for the four-to-eight-person rooms. We only accept bookings of up to 20 people on Hostelworld.
