Pros: Beds & Bathrooms were clean, 100% Secure as they give you numbers for your luggage and phones, the breakfasts were filling (& you don't have to do your own dishes!), lockers in the rooms, they do not lock you out at night, they have a mailbox Cons: No outlets in the rooms (you have to charge it for free at the front desk), I had an allergy to something in the bedrooms, Location is not very central but close to Anne Frank House, my sheets had holes in them/stains

The staff were amazing! You really feel at home in the cafe/lounge area and the homecooked evening meal is a real bargain.

Very nice hotel but one thing you should know: if you go to airport, better to book at the Shelter hostel near Amsterdam Centraal. it cost only 4 euros to go to the airport and no need to take extra transport. at Jordan you have to take the tram first. the other solution is the Connextion bus but it take 47 minutes, costs 5 euros and is about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the Jordan hostel. if you have a big luggage this is not easy at all. otherwise I would recommend it.

I had never been to the shelter before, but it felt like coming home. The other guests and staff were very nice and friendly. The hostel is located nearby the city centre, which makes it easy to walk through Amsterdam and it's nice not to have to take public transport to get somewhere. The hostel was clean and cosy. I would definitely come back if I had the chance.

To change; - Staff behaviors - Pad Lock selling - Breakfast

First, thanks for the very comfortable accommodation. We had four very nice days in amsterdam and have enjoyed the nice atmosphere in the youth hostel. The common room was very cozy and the staff very nice. The breakfast was delicious, could also be a little bit more. Thanks for this, we will certainly be back again.
