The property itself was quite satisfactory; the rooms were vast and adequately furnished, although a little worse for the wear around the edges. The receptionists were also the cleaners, and neither one of the women could speak one word of English or Dutch, which made communication almost impossible. Many of the facilities advertised were missing (24-hour reception, bar, room service), and there was no evidence of breakfast being served at all. The location is only tolerable with a car.

Best staff I encountered during my trip! They went well out of their way helping me with anything I asked. Great room, great location, can't say enough about Shelter Studio.

The staff was really polite and good. The location is just a bit outside but for all the rest ok. Exept for the shower which is not in the toilet

The hostel was very good for the money - more like a hotel than a hostel. it was very clean and quiet, and our room had its own attached bathroom. The wifi worked well downstairs, but not in our room on the second floor. The only problem is the location - it's about a 20 minute tram ride from the central station and the last train left the city at about 10:30 pm - if you're staying a few nights or planning on going out at night it's not ideal.

Good place if you come with a car since it has a pretty safe parking place. It's a bit out of the city but you can go there by train or park somewhere in the city (I suggest the Arcades in the park with the museum of cars, if you come early enough you can find a place you don't have to pay for). Staff in the hotel were nice and helpful and the place was clean but the room smelled slightly of cigarettes. One other problem are thin walls so if you are a light sleeper I suggest earplugs.

The place was great besides the fact that it was a train ride out of town. Some people didn't have wifi in their room. The staff (family) were all really nice and helpful until the "boss" was around and they/we weren't allowed to do anything.

Nice and clean family-run hotel, with a good price-value ratio. The hotel has just renovated when we stayed there and the owner was very friendly. The hotel located a bit outside of the city, but the train station is literally in front of the hotel, which at the same time is a problem of the hotel: at the evening, the train can be very disturbing for sound-sensitive people. But if it is not the case, than this hotel is a great bargain for traveler, who wants to save some pennies.
