The hostel staff was very helpful about trying to get me a taxi at 6 am. They've had a problem with hot water at night for about 2 weeks (so I heard). So no hot water after 6 pm. The mattress was so terrible my back is still aching. Liked the building and the surrounding area but it's not close to much.   Read Owner Comments

Not enough staff to deal with demand. If a person checked in then no other service could be dealt with, from buying a drink to asking a question. Very poor menu! No atmosphere, unlike almost all the other hostels we stayed in in China.

Far out from the downtown areas, and the staff although will smile if you smile 1st do not offer any customer service. In addition they have signs all over the hostel saying they are a 'hostel' not a 'budget hotel' as if to say they have no obligation to give any service. They also say on the same sign that they are a hostel to promote cultural exchange or understanding etc. How can that happen if they avoid talking to you?   Read Owner Comments

Make sure you print out the map of directions to the hostel. I'll make life a lot easier when in a taxi or asking for directions!

The location is little bit far from the subway exit (10 minutes walk) nor from the down town, either.

Hostel is beautiful, nice facilities, excelent bathrooms, clean rooms and bed sheets. BUT they have 2 principles: They are not a hotel, and they help those who help themselves. These 2 principles create a terrible attitude among staff mambers, they are very unlikely to help you in anything. The internet of the hostel was not working and they were unable to tell that there was a HUGE lan house just around the corner.
