Great location. The staff didn't speak English, but they had a man-on-the-phone who they called and translated our questions.

Great location, but maybe bteer directions to get there suing metro would be good. I never have problems wiht second guest even i check in by myself. I did my booking all the time (three times so far) through booking.com. The satff always has to check adn get on the phone to double check i dont know what, if they have my reservation hnumber i don\'t understadn why they have to makea aphone cal. Ho(s)tel was good value for money. Rooms are good as also the bathroom. They should consider WIFI cause a cable is a little bit useless now a days! Overall good ho(s)tel!

Though in a good location the room was not what I expected, I did not even feel like taking a shower... (I have only stayed in one Hostel before, really good, so probably I was expecting something different...

The room itself was nice. It does have internet, but requires a wired connection. No wifi. Staff did not speak English and were not helpful in guiding us around the city. No tour pamphlets/maps etc. This is certainly not a hostel environment. This is a hotel, we rarely saw any other guests. The location is great though, we were close to the metro as well as the bund. A nice central location to lots of Shanghai sites. Plenty of convenient stores for late night snacks.
