Staff was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We only spent a day in Jeju, but we were able to go to some of the best places thanks to the owner. He recommended all the must-see sites, taught us which buses to ride, and even went to as far as walking us to the bus terminal and helping us with the tickets. The guesthouse itself was such a cozy place to stay at, very homey. You can cook noodles in the kitchen and hang out in the common area with the staff and share stories.

I really liked this hostel but they were repairing damages from the storm when I stayed so the bathroom was not that great. Also, you cannot get into the hostel without the owner b/c he was the only one that had keys to it. This proved to be a little inconvenient, but the staff was superb so it kinda evened out. Mr. Shinee is extremely friendly and goes out of his way to help you.

Mr Shinee (as we all call him), is the best tour guide in Jeju! He is extremely hospitable, goes out of the way to make sure you are well and he is very cheerful as well. His hostel is also very comfortable, with nice beds and all amenities equipped. His staff is super friendly as well! He recommends the best places to see in Jeju, helping you to save money if you're on a budget. All in all, I would highly recommend Shinee guest house!!!!

The owner of Game Guesthouse was a very friendly and hospitable host. He provided a very good lodging condition with extremely good tour services. If you coming Jeju or with a group of friends, fret not as he sure knows every inch of Jeju inside out. He brought us to the touristy places and others (only the natives know) in Jeju style :) DId I mention that it was cheap and super value for money too?

the hostel is conveniently located, about 5 minute walk from the local bus terminal which is useful when travelling around the island. the owner focuses on creating a homely feel by not overcrowding the hostel with people. this is defnitely welcomed after squeezing with many roommates in other hostels. the hostel is actually an apartment which means you practically get the whole place to yourself (and of course the owner and the cat) and not just the bedroom. which is really value for money

I liked the stay in here.. i was traveling by myself (from Canada, to Philippines to Korea) but because the place is cozy and can just accommodate a few travelers I got to know and be friends with my "house mates". I felt I wasn't in a hostel or a dorm. The environment it brings is like a home. Shinee, is the name we gave the hostel owner. He is a fab tour guide. There was never a dull moment with this guy. He took us to touristy and not so touristy places. I will definitely come back!

Two thumbs up! Friendly owner picked us up from the airport;helped booking tickets for Nanta show. The guesthouse offer day tours of Jeju, the tours were efficient in taking us to various scenic spots on the Island; we visited some spots that not much ppl knew about. That is a Bonus! The tour guide was passionate to show us all of Jeju, both scenic & cultural.Definitely more than what we expected.Guesthouse was small, but has everything u need;the owner will do anything to make ur stay pleasant.=)

Jeju, the south island of South Korea is an incredible island that is much more interesting to visit than Okinawa in Japan. The owner is convinced about this too and will do his best to let you know about interesting locations that are not often mentionned in the english-speaking guides. He will also bring you to the most delicious restaurants in Jeju, where the food is incredibly more tasty than it is in Seoul. You'll find cheap places thanks to him, instead of the expensive ones for tourists.

Really nice with pick-up service from the ferry terminal. The owner knows a lot about the island, and is eager to tell it all, maybe a bit too eager. As the 'hostel' apparently just opened, the male-dorm was still quite messy with a lot of the owners personal stuff. Common room was also filled with the owners belongings. The owners kitten was very energetic and was sleeping with the owner in the males dorm.

We spent 2 hrs to look for the location at first. Unable to contact the host at all. The house is way too cold... Esp the toilet. Maybe its me, but compared to the guess house I stayed in Seoul, for sure I will not go back to game guess house again.

I had a very pleasant time on Jeju Island in this hostel. The host picked me up the day I came and help me on my journey by giving tips drives. I also thank him very very much for giving me change cloths after climbing Hallasan, cold, rainy and snowy in winter. So bad I couldn't enjoy my stay longer, but I'm happy I could live in this hostel and made good friendship with the host.
