We had to switch rooms when we arrived, the first room was extremely dirty. We had however booked the cheapest room, however, for what we'd paid we had stayed in much nicer accommodation before. Second room was nicer but still pretty dirty with electrical wires hanging from the ceiling. Staff were helpful when you found them.
Was not sure about the owner exacting the booking fee from us for a date that we had cancelled and then telling us that we shouldn't be fussed about it due to the fact that if we converted to our local currency it wasn't that expensive. Not the point at all.
Quite decent place, good location with very nice rooftop view and Owner was very co-operative and was even ready to serve the breakfast next day early morning.
Didn't have a parking location. plus very sluggish staff.
Top location as it's walking distance from both the Fort and the Clock Tower. The views from the rooftop terrace are incredible. Good food too.
Two words, rooftop view. The family that runs the home-stay is lovely and very helpful. The rooms have great character and really make you feel at home. My only complaint is the stairs are quite steep, but it adds to the experience. The restaurant at the top level is absolutely lovely with great food and a WONDERFUL view. Couldn't be in a better location and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return if given the opportunity!
Good place to stay in the area. There was a great vibe on the rooftop restaurant.
