We were picked up promptly from nearby airport by the owner......wonderful family run place........felt right at home in the big city of Jo-berg

Very welcoming and efficient Staff. Very near the airport. Excellent if you will catch a flight early. So you're not in traffic. I recommend!

Feels like you're staying in someone's home. It's VERY close to the airport...perfect if you have an overnight layover in Jo-berg. Rob was very helpful...he picked us up from the airport (we called from a payphone at the airport when we got in) and he also arranged a reliable taxi for us so we could go to the Apartheid Museum. The main downside is the location - it seems pretty isolated, so it might not be a good choice for lots of sightseeing.

We(3 Germans 60+) liked the atmosphere,the valuable advice,the discussion in the evening;we will definitely stay there next visit to S A Wolfram

Great hostel! Close to the airport , the man that runs it will pick you up and drop you off, rooms were very clean..it was damn near a home away from home! Would stay there again

Stayed here multiple times during an extended trip in SA. Very close to the airport and transfer service is great. The hostel is a great value for the money and run by friendly and accommodating people.

the place is a hostel, basic, clean, close to the airport, owners were very friendly and had FREE shuttle to and from the airport. price is very good and would stay there for a quick stay in and out of JOBURG.

Because of its very good location it is excellent place, close to the airport, for those who start or finish their trip. Family atmosphere in the hostel and readiness of the owner to pick up the guest to the airport and the train is also very important.

The owner of the lodge is a nice and helpful man who even took us to the train station at no additional cost. Unfortunately, the pictures of the lodge posted on this website do not exactly correspond to reality. We found the place to be pretty run down. Nevertheless, a good location for those on a budget who need a place to stay before catching the next plane.

Rob was fantastic. Helped give navigational advice around the city and even piced e up from the local taxi stand.

very friendly and helpful owner. pick-up service to and from the airport worked out perfectly. there is a gauteng train station very close by which makes the location (next to the airport) even more attractive.
