It is a nightclub, not a guest house/backpackers/hostel/etc.... Internet doesmt work and they charge expensive. Food is very bad....
The bar is excellent fun, the rooms are small but have everything you need and the bathrooms are well maintained. I would stay again for sure.
Everything was great except for the showers, there was really only one that worked properly... Otherwise awesome hostel!
Our stay was really nice, food was goid but maybe a little overpriced. Location was excellent. Only issue was staff forgot to mention that you have to request blankets, we were very cold our first night
Very friendly and helpful staff, contains a craft workshop, resturant and massage parlour. Definteley worth a stay or if you have a couple of hours to kill and need to chill out somewhere.

I have stayed at Shoestrings many times in the past and will go again in the future. If you like hot sauces, the peri-peri at their Garden of Eatin' ranks as one of the hottest I've ever had! A reaon by itself to go back!
Solid hang out spot, and a lot of fun at night. Full bar and huge outdoor patio makes for fun times with other guests. People from other hostels in Vic Falls were actually coming to hang out at Shoestrings at night, so it's definitely a fun place to be. Facilities aren't fantastic, but they're sufficient. It's not the cleanest place either, but the staff was very accommodating and helpful. No free WiFi is a bummer, but only a small one. Would definitely recommend.
