Shoe Strings is a great party place to stay. However they should have someone on the premisies. We wanted to get our luggage from storage and there was noone to help. We were nervous as we had a plane to catch. Need more work on cleanliness in the toilets.

Bathrooms seems to be not enough for the number of guests. It's a party hostel, so if you want to relax this is not the place - parties can last until 2 PM. Good place to meet people.

The hostel is in a convenient place, walking distance to town. But the rooms are very basic and not clean. The bed sheets did not smell that clean, and the bathroom and shower were quite dirty. But Victoria Falls is very expensive, so there are not a lot of options when it comes to cheap accommodations. The bar and restaurant is quite cheap, and the food was actually quite good. The pool looks quite dirty though, and no one was swimming in it.

There should be mosquito screens on the windows. It was terribly hot in the room so we had to open the windows to be able to sleep, but that let all the mosquitoes inside. Also, the rooms are very close to where the music was playing and everyone was gathering in the evenings make it very difficult to go to sleep earlier in the evening.

Very accommodating, even though my booking was confused, they still managed to sort me a new room. Nice place overall, nice atmosphere. Definitely not somewhere for long term, but fantastic for a cheap place to stay in Victoria Falls where everything is expensive.

A good place to stay. Many toilets and good showers. Staff members are friendly. I didn't mind loud music and parties. But, I was bothered with mosquito in dorm room. There are 2 supermarkets near by. Most things and activities are not cheap in VF. Falls are beautiful from both countries. I'd like to go back stay there again.

Good for a night in Vic Falls, but room was not really clean. Expected a bit more for the money. Atmosphere good if you're looking for a party.
