Great party hostel

It is the place to stay when visiting Vic Falls!

Shoe Strings is a great party place to stay. However they should have someone on the premisies. We wanted to get our luggage from storage and there was noone to help. We were nervous as we had a plane to catch. Need more work on cleanliness in the toilets.

Bathrooms seems to be not enough for the number of guests. It's a party hostel, so if you want to relax this is not the place - parties can last until 2 PM. Good place to meet people.

The hostel is in a convenient place, walking distance to town. But the rooms are very basic and not clean. The bed sheets did not smell that clean, and the bathroom and shower were quite dirty. But Victoria Falls is very expensive, so there are not a lot of options when it comes to cheap accommodations. The bar and restaurant is quite cheap, and the food was actually quite good. The pool looks quite dirty though, and no one was swimming in it.

fun place to stay, the room was very rustic (read: small, dark, rundown) and smelt of mould (not so great for an asthmatic!) but we had a good time there. they have a good array of fun things to do there but the pool was so slimey nobody would swim in it

Good place to stay if you're not disturb by the noise, party every night! Staff are very nice and helpfull!
