The room was very dirty and we woke up with lot of bed bugs bites. Nobody will clean your room. The owner changes 1 US$=10 Rand that at the moment is a proper robbery considering the actual change is 1 US$ = 7 Rand!!!. Furthermore, whith the change excuse she charged us again what we paid when booked. One kg's laundry costed us 8US$ with advanced payment and we get it back not completely cleaned and not ironed. Fairly good hostel , the location was excellent and the staff very helpful. One of the best value for money alternatives in victoria falls. I'd recommend it to budget travellers. The rooms are really nice, but the kitchen has seen better days... There is only a curtain between the toilet and the bedroom in the double-room. Located perfectly with only 2 min walk to Vic Falls center, and ~10 min walk to the falls.The rooms are really nice, but the kitchen has seen better days... This place was fantastic!!! The staff, the atmosphere and the room. The staff were friendly and were always willing to assist in any way! Brillant place and i would recommend shoestrings to any one who is going to vic falls. One of the best hostels I have stayed in around the world. Cant wait till I come and stay again...... Great place to stay if you want to visit Victoria Falls, only 20 minutes walking to the Falls. The staff is very helpful and honest. We did not get a room with three beds at the time of booking, but when arrived, she managed to get us a room and charged us less. The dinner, pizza, is delicious and recommended.
