Nice room and garden. It was comfy and not too far from the temples. We had to leave a day early because they forgot to pay their internet bill and the WiFi stopped working, though.
This hotel is located a little bit outside of the village and it has both advantages and disadvantages. The biggest advantage is that you can esape from the crowd of hawkers and touts (the worst in India!) and relax in a pleasant rose garden. The staff was friendly, I had a train late at night and they let me stay in my room for free until the evening. Something should be done about the crows, though, they continuously knock on your window in the morning, and they are HUGE!
It's a great hostel for indian standards. It's clean, you get a room for a good price, internet works (not common in India), close to downtown area and at a walking distance from the temples. Calm and relaxing area. (has no kitchen, though) The city is nice, because it's calm (something odd in India), and it's nice just to walk around town.
If your looking for a nice, clean, quiet place a short distance from the centre of town and all the hassle from hawkers, this is the place to stay. its about a 10-15 min walk to find food if not at the hotel, but there is 5 rupee chai on the walk and the hotel itself is just lovely. The staff was very helpful in trying to help me find other tourists to do a safari at Panna National Park. If it wasn't for the crows that attack the windows early morning, i would've give it 100%
