Great place! Staff super, especially Snow and Sherry. I rated Security as only good only because there was a small problem with a noisy partier. Categories make our rating higher than it would be with different options. Pickup made us wait outside the train station for 1 hour, rooms smelled terribly of sewage, beds in two rooms were broken, and one person's food in an order arrived 30-40 minutes after others at the table on two occasions. Haven't stayed elsewhere in Xian, but would recommend looking elsewhere. Categories make our rating higher than it would be with different options. I personally didn't really like this place despite its good reviews. I felt it was very much a stereotypical hostel full of young westerners doing their gap years. I am sure they enjoyed the bar and suchlike, but I wanted something more chilled and grown up. The dorm room I stayed in was a dump, cold despite the heater. The showers were excellent and it is right on the city wall. If you are young and up for fun then this place might be a good bet.I personally didn't really like this place despite its good reviews.
