We really enjoyed staying here! Chantelle and Co were so helpful and gave us tips on some cultural things to do and see around Bogota. The hostel is in a very safe place, the rooms seemed luxurious for a hostel and there is always hot water! We arranged a city bike tour with them too which was really fun, and a great way to see more of Bogota. They do a great breakfast, and there is also an amazing Swiss bakery next door.....the smell is amazing!!! All round great stay!!

Great hostel, probably needs a few more rooms to develop any sort of social atmosphere, but that's not a complaint and overall this place was excellent.

Thanks for choosing to stay with us on your way to the beautiful Galapagos Islands. True, our small property does limit one's ability to socialize...but that's what makes staying in la Candelaria so great. You get to have a nice, quiet place to stay and then when you are feeling social you can always join in some of the social activities taking place at neighboring hostels ;)

Great, straightforward, clean, beautiful guest house. The staff is very friendly, and made of colombians and ex-pats that speak english and spanish well. Breakfast is good :).

Chantelle and Andres were excellent hosts. Even though the b&b is new, our stay was flawless and an outstanding value for the price. Highly recommended for anyone interested in staying in La Candelaria.
