Had a good stay here. Comfortable beds, really friendly staff, massive showers (although water pressure isn't great) and a decent breakfast! Bit far out of town but buses run frequently and are easy to use. Found it hard to meet people as a solo traveller but probably has more to do with being there in the off season, as there weren't many people staying there. Would recommend it if you're stay in lovely Siena :)
The hostel is far from the old city, and the bus system is not simple to understand. I had a friendly welcome and the common areas were well arranged (The terrace is really sweet). Some equipment in my dorm was broken or getting worn out, though. I was disappointed that there was no cooking hob. The breakfast was nice.
Very friendly and helpful staff! Pretty good choice of food for breakfast and clean facilities! Would definitely recommend this hostel if you want to visit the beautiful city of Siena!
This place is okay, acctually there is more than expected from a cheap hostel. The only problem is the distance from the important things in town, but it is not that bad beceuse there is a bus stop just at the door. If you don´t need to arrive or go away during no commercial time, it will be okay. I recommend.
Nice facilities and a friendly staff. Free breakfast. Only down side of how far it is. But the bus stop is close so it's not the end of the world.
Not a bad hostel but nothing special. Okay facilities and okay atmosphere. Nothing really fun to do here in the hostel. And the location is SOOO far away from the center of Siena. Not bad, but I recommend finding something closer to Siena.
It's pretty far from Old Town Siena. Iff you're planning on walking to/from the train station be prepared to walk on a small shoulder of a busy street as there is no sidewalk at some portions Busses leave every 20 - 30 minutes from the outside of the hostel. Internet was good (about 5 Mbps) and there was an awesome hostel cat roaming around. This place benefits from being the only game in town, but it was worth the 18 euro.
The hostel, the staff, and almost everything else was great here. Grocery store close by as well. The ONLY thing I didn't enjoy was the location. It's a 40 minute walk to the center which really cuts into your day and makes it not easy to pop back to change or anything. There's a good bus system but that taks a bit to get into town as well. The hostel itself is great and, if it were closer to the center I would happily stay again and even pay more but it's just too far out for me.
Great hostel to visit Siena, the location is not in the center but it hast the bus stop just in front so transportation is not an issue. Also they have the bus schedule in the reception for Siena and many other day trips so that is very helpful. The staff is nice and helpful. Also the breakfast is really nice too. Definately staying here again.
Really friendly hostel, clean bedroom and spacious/clean bathroom. Great breakfast, and staff helpfull. Located a bit far from the city center ( if you don't want to wait for a bus to go downtown in the evening, about 30-40 minutes walk) otherwise there is buses every hour.
Enjoyed my stay here. The location is a bit further away from town and the train station, but the staff posted bus schedules and are generally very helpful. Wi-Fi is fantastic, as well as lounge area. I used this mainly as a base to rest and research the rest of my trip.
Super friendly staff, nice people and cute cat. Who needs more?
Still in a 20minute walking distance from the city. The shower in the dormitory got really dirty over time but besides that it was clean and spacey. The breakfast was very versatile and good!!! The staff is really really hepful and nice although they told me not to do the Palio Tour which I did anyway and enjoyed very much so listen to your guts. Also the train station is further away than they said.
This was a great place to stay with a good mix of guests. The bed was super comfy! The only down side is the location as it is a fair walk into the town however If that isn't an issue for you then I would definitely recommend to stay here.
Nice hostel, lovely staff, great breakfast. Couple of minor issues: pretty far out although there are regular busses (but not on a Sunday!), bathroom facilities not great, in our dorm none of the toilet doors locked.

What a great place! The young guy that checked me in was awesome. So friendly and helpful. This was my first hostel experience....in my 60 some years. So would definitely stay here again.

Was only there one night. Being a bit outside of the city meant it was a bit hard to get to. Great place and value for money, the included breakfast was an added bonus.
Siena Hostel is a fairly big property, large dorms and several levels (with a lift). They have a hostel kitty which is very friendly. Bar is cheap, they have a fridge to use but no utensils etc however they will let you use breakfast bowls/plates etc. it is a little way out of town so bus is the easiest transport option but perfect location for riding into the vineyard region. Mosquitos are a problem. Would stay again :)
If you are not prepared to walk then give it a miss as it is about 40 min on foot from city centre and busses are not that frequent and easy to use. Big rooms and bathrooms, the breakfast is less than basic so not sure what other people got so excited about.
