The only thing that kind of caused us problem was that the staff we spoke with (mostly at the restaurant) didn't speak English very well.

wonderful staff and service! free pickup and dropoff from the bus station (such a relief not to have to haggle with taxi drivers). free bottled water in room. had clean, comfortable, spacious a/c room (shared bathroom not a problem, decent water pressure) above restaurant. pretty good wifi connection (husband's laptop connected well but my netbook had issues). decent food, great shakes. very friendly staff. absolutely recommend!

It's a good hostel and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Mind you that the room I had (single room, basic) is bare bones, just a bed and a hanger for a towel, but you get what you paid for and it wasn't a problem for me. Overall I would stay again if I stopped there again.

We booked the cheaper room at this resort through HW however, when we arrived we were told that the room we had booked was no longer available and they told us we could have a different room at double the price. We were only staying one night and i understand if guests who have already been there for a few nights been given the room (our room) again. However, we should have been offered the more expensive room at a reduced or even for the same price as we had booked (...got 100 off the room).

Fantastic place. Staff are always smiling and available, place has a unique charm, free bikes, great food and shakes etc. Didn't want to leave. Best place I've ever stayed in, and I will never forget neither my time in Sukhothai, nor my time in Sila Resort.

Very nice hostel, I couldn't believe how good the room was. Nice helpfull staff and a really nice environment. Only slight downside is that is is about a 15 - 20 minute walk to the center of town but they do have free cycles you can borrow so it's not a problem! Would definitely stay again.

The basic doubles are really small and the walls are paperthin. Bring your earplugs depending on your neighbour. The staff was very nice and tried everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Make sure they pick you up at the bus station or take a tuk-tuk for 20baht as it is a long walk (1hr). Their free shuttle service is very convenient and the attached restaurant has good food.

Nice little oasis with a great staff who is wiling to help you find everything you need. The shuttle is very convenient and I would take advantage of the bike because it is a little far to walk to the main town.

Great service whether you rent dorm or bungalow: 1) free bicycles incl. mountain bikes; 2) free mini-van to bus station in the morning, a few times, and, in my case, on demand, in the afternoon; 3) best laundry, beter than my mom've ever done; 4) hospitable, always with big smile, and helpful personal; 5) really close to bus terminal of New Sukhothai - 1,3 km. Some slightly inconvenient features: 1) thing walls; 2) no ensutes, except bungalows, but public bathrooms are more than enough.

Very good place and good value for money! Peaceful and relaxing. The downside is - some walk is required into town, and the dogs on the road can be quite aggressive.. If you're coming back from the town at night, take left just before the road to the Sila, this way you won't encounter the dogs:)

We booked a stay here just the night before arrival and were pleasantly surprised at how nice this place is. All the necessary facilities are available on-site - great restaurant, internet, laundry, free shuttle to bus station/stop to old city, long distance taxi service.

The location is not great but the pick up and the free bikes make up for it. It's clean but the rooms are tight and it can get quite hot.

eIt is most likely the best option in sukhothai. The facility is very nice. My only complaints are, one that my room had a lot of mosquiots in it when i first arrived and that the restaurent missed the mark on several of the wastern foods on their menu (french toast being one of them). However the thai food was good and the staff will go out of their way in order to serve you. Overall, if you want to stop in sukhothai and see the old temples I would recommend this place.

Great hostel!! Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean and quiet. Not in the best location but the free bike hire and free transfers too and from the bus station/town make up for it. Has an on-site restaurant and free wifi which are a bonus. Definitely would recommend to friends!! Excellent :)
