Sila Resort Reviews

The staff at Sila bent over backwards to make my short stay in Sukhothai memorable. The place is a bit out of center and my room - the cheapest available - was extremely basic - but all these things I knew in advance. But the people and the grounds more than made up for that!

The bed had really hard spirals and there were insects in the bed. They used the spray so then It was okay.

Our experience at this place was AMAZING. We came in at 5am and hadn't booked until the next day. The owner was nice enough to (a) wake up , (b) book us a room even though we didn't have one til the next day, and (c) not overcharge us given that we were sleeping there for like 3 hours. When we woke up to move into our official rooms, he was funny, pleasant, and helpful. As soon as we woke up, he gave us a map with recommendations for both old and new Sukhothai, free bikes, breakfast! A+++++

Awesome staff, great structure!

I loved Sila Resort. The staff was so welcoming. It's about a 15 minute walk to town, but they offer free bicycle rental, so you can get to the main part of town in less than 5 minutes. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in Sukhothai.

The character of the bungalows around the main building was really neat, but if you are in a single room, the room is a stark white, tiny room with one bed, a towel like blanket and a fan. It was sufficient, but I guess with the reviews I read I was expecting more. But then again the stay was cheap. The staff are nice/friendly. The bus station pick up was nice but took a long time, and I had to take a tuk tuk back to the bus station (but this made have been owing to the fact that it was xmas)
