Extremely nice owners John and Maria who really looked after us. Felt like home. The hostel has a really friendly, laid-back feel. Hammocks very great too. Only downside was the wifi turned off for no apparent reason almost every night from about 11pm and turned on again at about 7am. It bothered us one night when we had arranged to Skype others back home at 12midnight India-time. The wifi had been working all day and then was suddenly switched off before our Skype date.

A great quiet place to put your feet up in Goa. About a five minute walk from the beach which is perfect, the beach is loud and the party goes all night. Perfectly arranged airport taxi service and motorbike rental. Maria and her husband treat you like family, couldn't recommend Silver Moon more.

This Hostel is a really good place to have started my travels. The owners were very kind and helpful to me. The room was simple and yet comfortable and clean. Location is very convenient and nearby beaches and other facilities such as supermarkets and bars and nice restaurants and ATM. Going back home from Goa, I'll certainly stop here before catching a flight back home. Thank you John and Maria!

The owners of the hostel are very friendly and helpful. The hostel is located in 15 minutes to nice beach. The rooms are simple, but comfortable and have small terrace to set in the garden. We really had always HOT water =) We recommend to stay there!

Maria and John who run this hostel are delightful hosts, very helpful and informative about the area and all travel enquiries. If you are a single traveller they look after you and even find people to share taxies. the rooms are fine for the budget price and clean with hot water for showers. In all a good amosphere with other friendly travellers and a great place to stay that is conveniant for the beach and market.

Good little hostel in Goa. The owners are fabulous and very helpful with travel plans and helping you get around Goa. Dorm rooms are nice and the shower and toilet is a very large space. Lockers for security and the rooms are cleaned everyday. Let me shower even after I checked out so that I could be fresh for the night bus to Mumbai.

I got overcharged when I checked in but I was refunded the difference. Other than that, it was a very good stay.

This is a nice hostel that is located just down the road from the beach. There are a lot of restaurants and stores along the way, it's in a quiet area and it's within walking distance of a few other beaches. Like most reviews say, the owners are extremely helpful and friendly. I stayed in the dorms and they were cleaned daily; the dorms were cleaner than almost all of the Indian hotels i stayed in. There is also a nice common area where you can meet other travelers.

This was the second hostel I've stayed in in India and by comparison it was really roughing it. Not much security, anyone can come in at any time (not that you need worry). Ants were a big problem, but are also hard to avoid in most hostels. Bathroom could have been way cleaner. It wouldn't take much to make this place a top notch hostel. Minor facility upgrades would put it miles ahead of the rest. The staff were the the best part, friendly and warm.

Staff is nice and trustful people. Rooms are basic but good condition. Noise from the beach or from the street doesn\'t carry all the way to the rooms. I would choose this place again.

We had a very nice stay at Silver Moon Guesthouse, and the couple running it are two very kind people. The rooms are just fine, and are all with entrance from a small garden, which makes it a social place, as everything is very compact - in a good way! This is a place worth recommending, I'm sure it's the best place to stay in Anjuna, and many people we met agreed! Thank you for letting us stay, hope to see you again one day. Take care. Very spartan. Very very basic, but relatively safe (prison doors), good place to meet people -- just don't use the owners private bathroom!

I enjoyed my stay at silver moon. The accommodation was basic but gave good value for the money. Maria the hostess was very helpful and straight forward. I can happily recommend it to anyone wishing to find accomodation in Anjuna.

This place, was accommodating, safe, friendly and family atmosphere. When u are here from arrival u are part o the family. The place itself is decent and a good spot for attacking anjuna beach, with the very tempting and possibility of hiring a scooter to jet off to other areas and beaches. not overly crowded beach anjuna and its a great location to pick and choose which style of beach u want for the day. baja-15 mins away, and northern beaches as from 15 mins -1h away the farthest out. enjoy :)

The couple that run this guesthouse are so lovely and welcoming. It is very relaxing to sit in the garden. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. It is only a short 10 minute walk to the beach. Over 4 months in Asia this was the best place that we had laundry done!
