A lot of good stuff has been said about the place and the lovely owners, and I have to concur with one fricking detail : there are some Conan comics available for free reading at the breakfast place, plus a friendly cat, plus a hammock... A very warm and freindly welcome from Maria and John. Very helpful for our whole stay. Facilities are as good as can be expected for the price, just had to chase a couple of frogs out of the bathroom but apart from that a very nice stay.A very warm and freindly welcome from Maria and John. I've decided to stay all week at the guest house as it's so nice here. The owners (Maria & John) are lovely and have been very helpful & attentative. The rooms are clean and have hammocks outside in the porch area which makes for a sociable atmosphere. I've had breakfast brought to my room each morning. I even had some travel assistance from the owners' daughter at a nearby travel agent 'Skyline' which was useful! I would recommend Silver Moon. Very friendly couple running this place. Very friendly. There was however an ants next in our room and also thought some of the advice we were given about the neighboring beaches was pretty biased and I felt inaccurate. We also found that after speaking to the neighboring guesthouses that Silver Moon is very over priced. The one next door offered a double room of much better standard for 250 rupes each and up the coast you can gt the same next to the beach for 200 for the whole room.Very friendly couple running this place. We are really enjoying our stay here we were meant to stay for 2 days and are prob gonna stay 2 weeks! Its really relaxing Maria and her husband are lovely and are very welcoming and helpful! I loved my stay at Silver Moon Guest house. I was very sad to leave not just the town, the seaside but also the family that ran the guest house. Maria and Jon were very friendly and welcoming. The guest house is set in a very pretty and peaceful garden and it was great to swing in the hammock outside my room.
