Mr. Sim and his wife are great, always helpful, checking if everything is ok and in order. One of the girls in the reception (didn't get the name) is not that nice, and that's why is not excellent in "Staff" section.
The restaurant is very good, the food is delicious and the price is the average.
Nice tours arranged by then, the guide Jun is funny.
Recommend it and will stay there again.

Sims is awesome. Totally set up for travelers, movies, internet, great food in the restaurant, wonderful staff, we just had a Christmas eve party with free barbque, free snacks and free beer. Tibetan dancing, singing. Sims goes out of its way to make everything comfortable and fun. Totally reccommend this place.Sims is awesome. Great hostel, beat beds in china so far! DVD in room a bonus - heating very nice, and one of the hottest showers. Bar area nice and great food. One of the best put together hostel's I've ever stayed in. All the little things that you notice in various places are all here. The staff are excellent too, helpful even at their own expense and with really helpful tips for the city and even the rest of China.One of the best put together hostel's I've ever stayed in. This Hostel was by far as good as all the previous reviews I read. Its worth the extra few dollars a night!!!! This was by far the best hostel we stayed at going around China. A good atmosphere with excellent friendly staff - all English speaking which was very helpful. They have a good travel desk which is open late. Each room has a dvd player and there is a good dvd library for free for guests. The food is good with a daily special that is particularly good value. The property is a bit lacking in character but the people made up for that. A great place to rest up for a few days.This was by far the best hostel we stayed at going around China. Location is to the North of downtown and not in the expat area so it's a little out of the way. That gives you a more authentic experience since you're in the middle of regular Chinese shops.
