Hostel staff were incredible

It is a place were is good to go if you dont find anything better. During the summer the place is a hostel, but from october to may, they leave only one room guests. In this period it is not possible to use the kitchen, the atmosphere is not the best and there are nearly no travelers. During the summer the place is probably nice.

I only stayed at H2Ostel for 1 night, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and was pleased with the service. Would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

a bit far from city centre, still quite a good hostel

Great service, even picked us up at the train station at midnight at no extra cost and allowed for late check-in.

Great place! Very clean and a pleasant atmosphere. Denis is a very nice and helpful person.

The place was a bit away from the city, but if you have some good legs, it's no problem. Friendly staff and nice room with a little kitchen and refrigerate. Quick check in and out, so it was nice!

We just stayed one night but the hostel had good comfortable bed and a nice kitchen. But when you're getting to the Hostel, DON'T TAKE THE BUS! We arrived late at night at got on the bus.. first, you can't pay with cash to go on the bus but need a special bus card to get on.. second, the bus driver didn't speak any English at all so we ended up going the wrong direction.. So just call the hostel and they will come and pick you up and drive you to the hostel for some euro, IT'S WORTH IT!!

Please put soap in the bathrooms!!!!!

Nice stay! The hostel is a bit far away from the centre, especially if your tired, but still: very nice hostel

One good place near ljubjana.

Ignore the bad reviews here! We had a great time in this hostel and we can credit this to Denis, the amazing receptionist. We arrived late as our train was delayed only to discover that we had booked the hostel for the next night by mistake! Denis informed us that the hostel was fully booked but found a bed for us anyway! He was helpful throughout our stay. It was a little far from the city but bike hire was only €4 a day. It was also very clean.

Hostel was very clean and rooms were nice and spacious. The guy receptionist was so helpful, whatever we needed he helped without hesitation. The hostel did our washing which was so helpful. There was also a cheap supermarket across the road which came in handy. Only problem was the directions to the hostel which were incorrect resulting in us getting stranded in the middle of the nowhere at 11pm. However, would highly recommend this hostel to those wanting a comfortable stay!

A really nice place to stay! It's a 15min walk to the city center or you can take the bus. The owner is really friendly and helps you with everything you need. The atmosphere is really nice, I would go there again!

We got there quite late due to a late arrival of train and we had already told the hostel in advance, but when we got there - there was nobody to greet us. The hostel did not feel that clean when we got there, and the main centre of town was a good 25/30 minute walk away. The staff were really nice though and even gave us a lift to the train station when we left.

Do NOT stay in this hostel. The reception was open only to take our money, and the rest of days it was closed. The hostel is not secure, because anyone could enter there as the reception stayed closed during the whole day. They have lockers but not have the keys to lock them. The hostel is not clean. It is 30 minutes by walking from the city center. To finish, the guy that took our money tried to take 10 euros more from us by giving the wrong change and arguing that "we have to trust nobody".
