At the moment of visiting the operation of the facility was more a student home, than a classical hostel type of place. It was a mismatch from my expectations and how realities where. Owner was fair and OK. Offered to put me in another hostel more in center. I declined, I was mostly there for the excellent parking spot outside the room. Its totally OK if you dont rely on there actually being a hostel reception ... there is nobody there ... also no fellow travelers to hang with.
Don't go to this hostel, even if you're on a small budget. It's 20 minutes walk from the city centre. It's impossible to find if you're arriving at the main station. The manager is never there, just his slave-like employee who smells and doesn't speak English or anything except from Slovenian. He's always watching you if you're leaving your room. We asked for laundry service, paid 8€ for that and our clothes smelled even more after their 'washing'. But he drove us to the station for 4€.
There's nothing wrong with this hostel, it just doesn't have the same feel as some because there's no communal area. Location is fine, just a 20 min walk to the centre at a leisurely pace. Beware the transfer service they offer from the station isn't free. Nice, spacious, clean rooms and bathrooms, our room had a well equipped kitchen.
Ok hostel, slightly far from the center/train station, but it is quite at night. Reception staff friendly but sometimes there, most of the time not. Highlight are the rental bikes!
Despite booking months ahead and emailing to confirm the day before, the hostel gave away our beds and as a result tried to con us into a more expensive room. Eventually I was given a mattress on the floor and not even any bedding. The bathroom door was smashed in and for the second night we had to chase them up periodically before they finally gave us bedding at 1130pm when we had been hoping for an early night. No staff were there when we arrived despite arriving in the middle of opening hours
The room was very very dirty (Dirty toilets and shower, dirty dish and old mouldy food in the cupboards in the kitchen). The cleaning had obviously not been made for a long time. The room that we have been given was not the one we had reserved, and was more expensive. The kitchen was badly equipped (3 colanders but no pan, for example)

It's a clean hostel, about 15 mins walk from the river, with good facilities and friendly staff. There was one guy running the reception and he was not always there so sometimes you wait 10 mins for him but he's a lovely guy. Bike hire, local food market

Everything was going great guns at this place. Tired as hell from a bit of travel through the prev night n day so was sleeping real well. Nec minute old mate behind the reception comes into the room about 1am turns the tv on in the room n goes to sleep after waking everyone up. Then he starts snoring like 2, no wait, 7 chain saws. Ended up sleepin in reception, this guy was too much. Ive worked in hostels before, 1st rule, Staff shouldnt sleep in the rooms where paying customers are. Snitzel
This hostel is in a great location and has free parking on site. There is a small, but well stocked supermarket directly opposite. Each room has a bathroom and kitchen (shared with the other room in your apartment). The rooms are big and comfortable and have large windows. The only annoyance was the lockers which didn't lock (reception had no keys) and our main door was broken (although this was due to be fixed after we left). The hostel is a nicen15 minute walk to the city centre. Great staff!
