We were in a new building next to a bridge with dragons in the city centre. The construction work was going on but the room was fine. A bit diry, empty bottles under the bed. But if you dont mind.. The staff is very, very, very poor. We had to wait 20 minutes until the manager came to show us our rooms at night. We did a late check in and called him before. At the reception we came to pay on the next day in the afternoon. She was very agressive and unfriendly and unfair. But was staff of H2Ostel

Cannot give this hostel an honest review! Booked the hostel the received an email giving alternate directions to hostel due to internal error. They failed to mention that they had moved us to another hostel. H2ostel was fine though. Very comfortable beds!

The location was really not too bad and a nice walk away from the city center. The rooms are quite new and the beds are ok. The staff was friendly and nice, but they had again problems with their booking system and we were also downgraded to a larger room without getting any refund. Also they organized an airport shuttle which turned out to be more expensive than we were told before.

We had the top room with a view over towards the castle. The room was fully self contained with a fridge, cooker and table. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was clean and new. I would definately recommend staying at this hostel.

Was only staying for one night, and we arrived late so didn't really get a good chance to judge the hostel too greatly. However as we were arriving around midnight the lift from the station to the hostel (€5) was much appreciated. All the staff were also very helpful.

Very nice and clean hostel. The room are air conditionned and very new. It is a little far from the center (like 10 to 15 min of walking).

This hostel was probably better than i had expected after reading others reviews, more like a bigger mass hostel than an idependent one so doesn't have much atmosphere or character. The directions to get here were really bad and we ended up getting lost and needing a taxi..The directions tell you to hope on a bus and hope off at a particular stop however this bus stop doesnt exist on that bus. The better optiion is to hope off at post office stop and change to different bus where stop is close.

Not bad! The location is not that good but there's transportation! We got 2 beds on a kitchen...so that's not a good review! We share that with a family on the next door that actually had a room! But it's ok. The staff was friendly and has good installations ..well given the fact that we didn't actually got a room!

We really liked this hostel although we underestimated the distance from the train station and centre of Ljubljana generally (this mattered with huge rucksacks being carried!). When we first arrived it was completely locked up and we had to call the hostel's main reception (at another hostel nearer the centre of town) and then wait an hour for a member of staff to arrive. The rooms were lovely though, and the hostel felt safe and welcoming. Shared bathroom but it was kept clean throughout.

This hostel has lots of potential, but unfortunately did not live up to it AT ALL! The room was large and air-con was cold but that was all that we have good to say about our stay. Had to ask for room to be re-cleaned, washing not hung up and left for 7 hrs in a laundry basket - then tried to charge us for the dryer, someone came into our room in the night - slept with chair against the door, flat tyre on rental bike b4 use and then reception not around for hrs and when around not very useful.

Worst hostel ever seen. After we had reserved and payed we found out that there was overbooking and it did happen for other customers as well. We where three, one of us slept on the floor and the other two had to share a single bed. NO BREAKFAST. The boss was a completely arshhole with us and he made us pay the night anyway at the same price. Just one very slowly connection computer for the whole hostel. So very disappointed with the treatment.

We only stayed one night and it was nice place to stay and they will pick you up from the train station on request. Staff were helpful.

Very nice staff. Good recommends. It is quite clean. You can use a pc for internet, there is wifi aswell. The location is okay, not too central, but okay. There is a good atmosphere in it. Nice colours, ...
