By far the best I have ever stayed at in 11 mths travelling. They organised a car to pick us up from the airport for less than AUD$9 and the staff were fantastic the whole time - very informative & always willing to help out with tours, directions, suggestions, additional amenities and advice. The dorms are huge with spacious, bungalow style bunks and great access to lockers and powerpoints. The grounds are just gorgeous, and I would definitely recommend to other travellers and my friends :)

Sim's is a very well run hostel and the staff are fab. The food is great too. It's a little big for metting people though and the shared toilets could do with being cleaned more often. Also check what station you get into coz we got into the south and there were no directions to the hostel from here! Would recommend it for booking tours to tibet :)

Sim's is one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in! Everyone is so helpful there. I was only there for a weekend but I wish I could've stayed for longer.

The people went the extra mile, esp. Mr.Sim himself. You feel home away from home. TQ.

this hostel has it all. Very relaxing. Our room and bathroom was rather small, but the ambience of the place made up for that. Even got a welcome bowl of fruit.

We felt very relaxed and very welcomed, really nice little touches like a basket of fruit in the room. Really cheap cycle hire and good bikes. Staff all had a wonderful attitude. We used the books, DVD's clothes, laundry. Well done, one of the best!
