We were not able to stay at Sindu Guest House due to the volcanic ash, which resulted in our Bali flight being cancelled. However correspondence from hostel was good during this time and it was a real shame we were unable to stay.

It was above expectations! The bathroom was super clean and the bed nicely made, there were little details as well that made it very accommodating such as a small jug of milk in the fridge to make your tea. Dave and the staff were also very warm and welcoming, and helpful in arranging airport transfer or any questions. You can also hire a bike there which was a great way to explore around. Location was perfect, a few minutes walk to the beach and the main shopping strip.

The quality service was very good.

Great location, helpful owner Dave, friendly staff and clean rooms. 5 mins easy stroll to the beach, and pretty much in the middle of all that's happening in Sanur. Great economic spot to base yourself prior to airport departure or on arrival. Awesome little super cheap Warung (local family run) place to eat just opposite. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel in a quieter area than Kuta would have been, with great little shops and restaurants all around and the beach a 4-5 minute walk away. Wifi works well, free water and breakfast, and overall a great experience -- definitely recommend!

I only spent a night here, but my impression of the place was positive. Hassle free, very comfy bed, clean room and bathroom, good shower. All you need after 30 hrs of flying/waiting. Traffic and noise from courtyard didn't bother me, as I was the first one up.

Dave is a champ, he was very welcoming and was comfortable to talk to throughout our breakfast (which was also lovely!). Room was very clean and had everything we were looking for. Location was also good, short walk to the beach which allows you to pass some nice cafes too! Everything is of a really high standard and all works as it should do.

It was very peaceful here as the hostel was off the main road but very close to the beach. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff friendly, although they didn't speak much English. We had heard good things in other reviews about the owner and so we were looking forward to meeting him and getting some tips on Sanur but sadly he wasn't around, although he was helpful in arranging a taxi for us from the airport.
