Calm And safe place... Really Gois for families

I really liked this hostel! It looks more like a hotel than a hostel! I had no problem to find it following the indications. I was in a 4 mixed ensuite room and is big enough! The beds and pillows are comfortable, the room and the bathroom were very clean, there was even a big mirror! And the lockers are quite big too for your backpacks. There is free wifi in the rooms -which is great! And the breakfast "all-you-can-eat" for 5€ is totally worthy! I would definitely recommend it and go back! :)

My friend and I had a great stay at Singer 109. The beds were clean, lockers were big (bring your own lock), separate shower and toilets. It was great to have WiFi all throughout the building, instead of just the bottom floor. The only downside to the hostel was location since it's not in central Berlin. However, we liked that since it meant we could actually get some sleep. There are two U-Bahn stations nearby that easily fix this minor detail.

at the beginning everything is fine. i stayes 4 nights with my female friends. But when i booked the rooms, i chose the 4 female people room. And then staff changed our room to put three of us to same room and their aims is "to help us". But they did not say anything about thy changed our room from female room to mixes room. So last night when we came to room, there is a boy in our room!!! And when we asked them to change his room, they just said us we cannot do anything!!! So be careful!!

Singer 109 was the nicest and cheapest hostel we stayed at during our whole trip. The 6-bed mixed dorms were spacious, with full-size tall lockers that fit our suitcases. The beds weren't luxury, but I slept comfortably. The lobby and restaurant were beautiful and clean. There is a smoking room off the lobby with tables and chairs and an exit to outside. The staff were very nice and recommended some restaurants to us that were in our budget and absolutely delicious. Wonderful stay.

Pros: - Very nice staff - The lobby of the hostel is beautiful - The beds are nice and the rooms are really warm - Easy to go to the center by foot (about 15 mins to Alexanderplatz, in this case) - S-bahn also near (about 10 mins to Jannowitzbrücke station) Cons - Some lack of touristic orientation from the staff, they just give you a map and you really need to ask them everything - You need a lockpad to fully close the locker in your room (pro: they lent me one in the reception)

The location is rather out of the way, what appears to be a retirement village in East Berlin. That being said, if your aim is to be walking distance from some good, grungy East Berlin-style clubs, that this is a good choice. The hostel is very nice and clean, much more like a hotel than hostel. The front desk staff is nice and helpful and the breakfast (although not free) is delicious. The only downside is their strictness with noise (or lack thereof). This is definitely not a social hostel

unfriendly east-berlin-style building surprisingly turned out to be a very modern, cosy and clean hostel inside. One of the best places I've ever stayed! Additionally supermarkets, alcohol store and the 1euro shop are around the corner. Also hearty thanks to the staff)

By far the nicest hostel at which I have stayed! The room was immaculately clean and secure. Lovely and spacious lobby. I also enjoyed the bar (awesome colada sunrise) though it was a but empty-- but then again, it was a Sunday night in march. As a 20 year old female in Berlin for the first time, and alone, I felt very safe and happy here!

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room and the rest of the hostel was very clean and neat. The breakfast was easily the best aspect of the whole stay.

The hostel is very nice and almost has a hotel feel to it. Rooms are very well furnished and spacious. The location is not prime but there is a metro very close to it. Depends what you are looking for while you are in Berlin. There was no kitchen which was a let down. But they do your laundry for 5 euros (wash, dry and fold).

Very clean, mattreses are great, beds are long(!) (187cm fits perfectly!), staff is very helpful. Special Thank You to Mark! Man, you made me discover the neighborhood the way I wanted to discover it! From the local's point). I wish I haven't spent 3 hours on the internet fishing for the info and went to talk to you right away! Now I'm definitely coming back for longer! (if not moving completely)) (still have few questions for you though)). All the best! Andrey

Feels more like a hotel than a hostel, it's huge!! Very beautiful though, I have to say. Staff is friendly as well and the hostel offers a lot of services. It's in a nice and quiet area just on the edge of town but close to public transportation so you can be in anywhere in no time.
