Singsaker Summerhotell is actually a hotel. Basement is converted into a hostel. Do not stay here if you value about your privacy. Dorm only had one key, which was weird. 8 people are using only one key. Bunk beds dont have stairs, you need to jump to the upper bed. Again, no protections on the upper bunk. You might fall if you are not careful while sleeping. There is only one toilet for 20 people. Last but not least, there is a public shower. You dont have your own space.

The male dorm smelt more like a male locker room. The beds were fairly old and uncomfortable, with broken springs. There were no lockers, the door was either never closed or never locked, and anyone could walk in the front door with no troubles.

Would be nice if there was a kitchen, but there wasn't and the hostel didn't feel like a hostel.

Although the rest of the building looked ok, the dormitory did not. It is located in an old basement, with poor ventilation and dirty walls and floors. Addtionally, the dormitory was small and crowded (even though it was not full), and the door lock does not work. To sum up, it was the worse dormitory that we have ever stayed on. If you are aiming for this price range, we would suggest you to look for somewhere else. Still, the included breakfast was pretty good.

Wi Fi only worked for me in the lobby. Sometimes, that technical deficiency is actually kind of nice. The beds were the most comfortable of my trip (this is around my 8th hostel so far). One odd thing was the limited number of keys so when you leave, you drop off the key for the other roommates. When I went to the restroom or the shower, I would just leave the room unlocked which was a little strange. All around a solid hostel relatively close to the train/bus station and close to major sites.

The room is clean and quiet. The free breakfast is good. Staff is very helpful and there are laundry facilities. Yes, the place is 20 minutes away from the central station and you need to walk up a hill, but it really isn't that steep, I think.
