Property Information:

The Siniffik Inn is situated in the beautiful town of Qaqortoq at the southern end of Greenland. Today it is the biggest town of South Greenland, with a population of about 3,000 people and it is one of four growth centres in the country. The daily life is very much influenced by the high level of activity.

In 1993 the local artist, Aka Høegh, started a culture project called "Stone and Man". It is an everlasting project where artists from all the Nordic countries come and carve sculptures in free stones or in rocks or boulders. Today you will find about 30 sculptures around town. It has turned out to be a unique attraction, which makes Qaqortoq even more worth a visit.

In Greenlandic Siniffik means 'bed' and the Siniffik Inn has a total of 26 beds with shared facilities. In winter the building is a Fitness Center called Seqinniarfik, but it is not used in summer, so it gets converted into a fantastic hostel.

For the year 2003 season we will be open from June 1 to September 26.
It is forbiddden to smoke or drink alcohol in the hostel.
