Bungi was a great place to be. The staff were very accommodating and the vibe is super chill. The wifi is top notch also! Loved it there!

The staff was pretty friendly which was nice. The hostel wasn't very conveniently located (at the top of a hill), they had free unlimited wifi- but it logged you out often so it was a pain to always sign back in. The rooms were pretty dark, and the washrooms weren't very clean

What stood out was FREE WIFI which is a rarity among NZ backpackers accomodations!

This is a party hostel. Not a good choice for people who want a quiet place to sleep. The people in my room were obnoxious and dirty. Security and enforcement of rules was practically non-existent after hours.

The atmosphere was really laid back and nice, the free soup was great. The showers were really hot and the water pressure was really low but other than that it was very clean and comfortable.

The people that lived there weren't very nice nor welcoming and the staff seem to not give to shits. To many people live there and not welcome backpackers

Had a room outside the main building so I had ro walk through the rain to take a shower or go to the toilet

Well, nothing to complain. The staff were great and we had a very nice time here. Thanks a lot, you're doing good job! :)

Great outdoor social space. Location is up a steep hill from main town area, but otherwise a very quick walk to everything you want in Queenstown.

My room was dirty, clearly the floor was not vacuumed for weeks. The "mattress" was old and thin. I left about an hour after checking-in, I found a B&B for the same price. Also, they only had two showers working for the entire place. I will say, the staff was very nice.

The staff are brilliant and lovely! So are all the long termers, like a little family here. Activities and BBQ's as a hostel, literally the best hostel ever. I couldnt recommend it more! I love it here!! Free wifi and free soup is a huge bonus too.

A nice hostel with a great staff and friendly atmosphere. Guests were more on the party side, which is great if that's your thing. Great complimentary soup at night. However, the showers weren't very good and my room was on the outside, what forced me to walk in the cold to get to the kitchen, reception and bathrooms. Going to the toilet at night was a hard task. Quite a way uphill to get there.

Overall had a good stay here, nice chilled hostel only a 5 minute walk down a hill to the centre of town . Compared to Base, where you have to pay for wi-fi and aren't allowed alcohol this hostel is much more relaxed. However there are no lockers so you have to be pretty trusting and the wi-fi causes redirection to some spam sites.
