I had five nights at Sir Toby's Hostel, and it was a great experience. The bar downstairs is great for meeting other hostelgoers. I quite liked the location of the hostel, as it was in a quiet area but with direct transport right outside the hostel to all of the sights. The staff was fantastic and always helpful and friendly. The only thing that left a bit to be desired was the restrooms- they look and feel unclean even when they've been cleaned, & the shower curtains were moldy on the bottom.
Best hostel till now among I have been in Europe.

The only issue I had, and everything else was fantastic!, was that at the time I was staying I had a staff member who was 'living' in the room and was incredibly messy and lazy, would have her alarms go off all morning. It was kind of uncomfortable since she was a staff member. Other than that I loved Sir Toby's.
Great hostel - lovely friendly helpful staff, easy to meet and chat to people in the downstairs bar/beer garden/kitchen area, super breakfast! Little bit outside of the city centre but tram service and underground service is great - only 15mins on the tram.
Very secure. Across the river from the city center but easy access to tram and nice scenic walk through the park to the castle area. Also a great common area with cheap tasty beer where wi-fi works better than in the room. Map provided was very good and staff had good recommendations for everything.
This hostel was spectacular! I absolutely would recommend it for the atmosphere alone. The hostel has a bar downstairs and an excellent breakfast, an awesome staff and great events (free BBQ) to top it all off. It is outside of the city center, but it's more than worth it in my opinion.
Really nice rooms and great views from the upper floors. A perfect place to stay if you are travelling solo as their are regular events that get everyone together. One night there was a free BBQ! Basement bar is cheap and very social. The location is not ideal but public transport is close and easy to use to get to the old part of Prague. I recommend this hostel!
This place has it all! It is not in the city centre but a 10 min tram ride will get you there no problem. The hostel staff are great! They have organized pub crawls, walking tours, game nights and also a free BBQ on friday night. The BBQ was a great way to meet people AND had high quality food...chicken, sausage, onions, mushrooms, salad, etc. The basement is a warm, cozy common area with an AMAZING kitchen!! If you want to visit Prague and this hostel has room....BOOK IT!
