Sirtanus is a really nice place to stay in Catania! The owner is a brilliant character and really friendly and helpful with all you need. They have a brilliant terrace, over looking Catania with mount etna in the back ground.

Very friendly couple, nice flat, large terrace with view on Mt. Etna, clean and comfortable. Entrance is a bit hard to spot - just a very small sign with "Sirtanus" on it.

This B&B was really excellent! The house was very nicely decorated, and the large rooftop terrace (where we had a delicious breakfast of home-baked apple cake) was stunning. Our hosts were interesting and very charming. Overall, very highly recommended.

What a place - you could spend a day just looking at all the pictures here! Wonderful rooftop terrace and the owners were so friendly and helpful. A wonderful oasis of calm in the town centre with an awesome view of Mt Etna.

We had a wonderful stay at Sirtanus. The 2 people running this guest are more then a normal help. The room was very personnalized and charming an so the rest of the house. The outside terrace gives a beautiful view over a part of the city. Concerning the location...it is a bit of center and from the station, but it's worth the stay...thanks nonno...;)

If you want to stay somewhere that is relaxing and see a little bit of sicilian life then I would definitely recommend Sirtanus. Had a really pleasant stay there. The couple are very friendly and welcoming and made me feel more like a friend rather than a guest. Don't bother with the tourist office as they provide you with all the info you need to know about Catania ie where to eat, get bus to other towns and will even call for you. A really nice and friendly place to stay.

A terrific place to stay. Had a great time staying at Sirtanus and would thoroughly recomend it to anyone staying in Catania. The owners were brilliant and extremely helpful. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. Hope to return again!
