I loved my stay here so much. Peter was awesome and spent a lot of his time highlighting places to go on the maps and make sure all was ok. Because I visited on the off-season I was the only guest so it was basically like having a really nice apartment to myself. It was within easy walking distance of anywhere I wanted to go as well. I would absolutely stay here again, I thought everything was great.

Peter was amazing and so helpful from the moment we arrived. Location is great and close to old town., ferries and bus to airport.. Could do with some new sheets as they are getting a bit worn but otherwise greta place to stay

Hostel is very homely and Peter is extremely helpful with whatever you need whether it be where's good to party, what sights to see or which restaurants are the best! The only downfall of the hostel is that it could use another girls bathroom!!

Clean : Terrible beds; frames do not have slats but only 4 metal bars, and you hang in between when you sleep. Moth-ridden. Air con very old (gross). Noisy: Next to trafficky street, main door can only be shut by loud slamming. I did not get a key for a locker. Only one bathroom for men and women resp, so queuing is the norm. When we decided to leave the next morning because of all that, Peter forced us to pay the second night - althogh it was obvious that they would fill up anyway.

Cute little hostel. Internet access, good wifi, tv, kitchen. Beds were pretty average - they need to replace the mattresses and pillows. Still doable. Good location - Petar the guy running the show was very friendly and recommended some nice/cheap places to eat.

The wifi and PS3 were the highlights, beds were shocking very uncomfortable. Pete was helpful, all they need are new mattresses.

Situs is a great hostel. Only a few minutes from the port/bus and train station/palace, really nice staff, comfortable beds, excellent common room and kitchen. Cheers

We arrived early in the morning due to getting an overnight ferry. We were warmly greeted and even had a cup of tea made for us. The lady at the hostel happily stored our bags for us and said to come back at midday so that they could have our private apartment cleaned and drive us there to check in. Peter (who worked at the hostel) took us to our apartment. It was a small apartment but had a kitchen to use. Was less than a minute from a supermarket, 5 mins to the beach, and 10 into town.Perfect!

The deluxe, private room is a must for anyone wanting privacy plus the local apt experience. Just minutes from beach and old town...so fab location. Peter was so helpful with info about local activities, ferry schedules, etc...he even helped me with my large bag...supposedly the largest of the season but I am from Texas where everything is big! Y'all need to visit him and remember to tip...Peter deserves it.

That was the best place that I've stayed during my 10 day balkan trip. 5 minutes walking distance to both old town and the beach. Petar was really helpful and friendly.

The Situs Hotel is by far the best hostel I have stayed at so far on my travels. For starters, the place is so conveniently located to the main area with a 2 minute walk and you are right in the heart of Split. The security is great with free lockers and keys, the beds are comfy and free wi-fi, a couch to relax and cable TV definitely make good recovery time after sailing Croatia for a week. Not to mention, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
