Good budget hostel, friendly staff.

No air con, two fans - one completely broken and the other occasionally broken and very very noisy, massive pillows which broke your neck and a very hard bed, shared bathroom which was clean. We booked two nights but got delayed so only stayed one but still got charged (not very understanding) and too expensive for what it was. Staff was friendly.

Walking distance to khaosan road but not in a super touristy spot which could be good or bad depending on the experience you want. Very helpful staff and clean rooms.

Tucked away from the busy streets, but still within walking distance to the ferry and Kho San Road. Wifi was touch and go, clean, and nice breakfast to start the day.

Good place, no complaints

We really loved staying here. The young lady who seemed to run the hostel was so lovely, you could ask her any questions and she would always be happy to help. The only way I have marked this place down was that the atmosphere wasn't amazing, as we didn't really meet any other backpackers. This said, we were staying ere during a military coup, so that was probably to be expected! I would 100% stay here again.

The girl from the reception was very nice and helpful. She suggested a restaurant close to the hostel and went there twice as food was awesome. Dodgy area but location is rather convenient.

We as a couple had a really nice stay in one of the deluxe double bedrooms. The a/c was working very well, the room was spacious, nice and well cleaned. You also get an included breakfast, that's not that much, but still enough. The head of stuff was a really friendly young woman with surprisingly good English: always very kind and helpful. The location was good too: quiet, but still close to walk to the city-center in 10-15 min. If I ever go back to Bangkok, I'd chose this place again!

We spent two nights in Bangkok here and it was really nice and quiet. Walking distance to Koh San road. Bus stop at the end of our road-great for getting around cheaply. Stayed in a basic double room with two fans - decent enough but pretty muggy. Rooms were quite basic and the "safe" was just a cupboard that locked. All in all it was really peaceful stay and the staff were so helpful (free breakfast). Would stay there again.

Lovely clean guesthouse. The beds we're comfy and the aircon worked a treat. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Would stay again when visiting Bangkok.

The woman who works the front desk is so nice and very helpful! It's obvious that a lot of thought was put into decorating the hostel and making it pleasant. Some rooms much bigger than others, A/C needed and strong. Included breakfast was awesome (though simple and American cuisine). Guests who stay there keep to themselves. Makes sense as there isn't really a common area. Close to Khao San Road, but quiet. Take the ferry to get around Old Bangkok, 5 min walk away to the dock and super cheap!

Very clean place. i check in around 930 pm and it was not a problem. Friendly Chinese girl owns it and she provides you with a little map of key sights. Not much going on there, and its about 10-12min walk to Kohsan Rd.

Sivarin is great! "Splurging" on the double private room with AC is definitely worth it, but it always clean, the shared bathrooms are nice, and I never heard other guests even when the hostel was completely full. The staff is really helpful at giving you directions and getting you around the city if you need assistance. Lovely little place.
