One of the best hostels I've been too. Does things the way it should be done. Got a faulty/noisy fan on the 8 bed dorm room. Should be replaced.. Nice atmosphere and staff.

By far the best hostel I've stayed in for some time. The staff were exceptional - everyone introduced themselves to the guests and made sure that everyone had the information that was required. The standard of cleanliness and facilities on offer are way ahead of anything else I have experienced in Asia. I stayed in a 'pod' dorm - little space for changing but the privacy and bag/security lockers more than make up for this. Bathrooms are large and there are plenty of them! Great concept!!

Staffs are nice.. The owner and staff are very helpful. I love their excellent service and information... I had lots of fun there.. Irish owner makes even better than the one i stayed while I was staying in Europe. Helpful Staff, Maya, is very passionate about her work... I love their teamwork and I had a really great stay there. I highly recommend everyone to try it once in their life time !!!

A really fantastic hostel. It's been set up really well, very clean and comfortable and all the amenities are great. The downstairs chill out areas are always quiet so you can hang out for as long as you like in comfort which is especially needed in Jakarta! The breakfast is great and the use of a laptop is handy and the staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive.

Excellent facilities and atmosphere (really loved the trust system of taking drinks from the fridge). My only criticism is that the bunk beds are a bit wobbly-- every time the person in the top or bottom bunk moves, the other guest moves with them, which for me meant waking up several times throughout the night.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at anywhere in the world. Clean. Great facilities. Very helpful staff and best of all the 'capsule hotel' concept is executed very well. This should be in the running for best hostel of the year not just Indonesia. Price is also acceptable for what you get.

The best hostel in SE Asia!! Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Great facilities, free breakfast and drinks. Wonderful home cinema with a good selection of films. Bob's jamming is the best wake up call! Can't say enough good things about this hostel. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!

I had a nice stay @ six degrees. i extended my stay to 3 nights after the first night. the staffs were very friendly and helpful. even though the water on the second day was a bit dirty (maybe caused by the periodically cleaning system), my stay @ six degrees was awesome. surely will choose six degrees again on my next visit to jakarta. 2 thumbs up b(^.^)d

Very pleased we chose this hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hostel catered for everything, they had pool table, sofas, kitchen, bar, cinema area, games area. Plenty of showers and toilets. The place was clean and welcoming. We will definitely go back there if ever in Jakarta again.

jakarta is one of my least favorite cities. Fortunately there is Six Degrees where I can crash if I end up in Jakarta anyway. This hostel lives up to its promise: it has a very nice and social atmosphere, the staff is really good and the boss is really Irish. This is the perfect place to start or end your travel in Indonesia. Only be aware of the cat Nemo, who is trained to attack people who make noise after 11.
