A great hostel with really friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way for us every time we had a question. Rooms were spotless and beautifully finished. An excellent place to meet fellow travellers and relax. Can't fault this place at all!

A fabulous hostel that delivers all it promises and more. We stayed 2N in May in a private room, which was large and clean, with a shared bathroom. The common areas are well done, encouraging interaction between guests and owners which made it easy to meet new people. Breakfast was yummy. The staff were polite and helpful, it is worth booking here just to meet artist in residence + night watch man Bobby! The owners work the desk and are incredibly friendly and super helpful.Highly recommended!

It's nice to stay in a hostel that you actually want to go back to. The people are lovely, it is very sociable, great places to hang out, good film selections, pool table, BBQ, cooking facilities, power showers, AC, and the two female owners have fantastic local knowledge. The other two are a Yorkshire man and an Irish man! Need I say more?

a little bit outside of the kind of tourist stripe, but in a even nicer place. a hostel with international character... inside you didnt know in which city of the world you are, which is for indonesia higher standard for facilities. books, dvds, guitar, couch, free computers, nice beds with own light and power plug, towel, free tea, nice showers... this mostly justifies the slightly higher price.

In general my staying in 6degrees was great. Staff was very helpful all the time. All the information about the city and go around and out Jakarta was provided. They are all that one should expect from a hostel.

Owners/staff were very accommodating. Was renovated/built in 2011, so rooms and showers still smell good. Beddings too smelled clean. I liked the common living area with billiards ang large projector screen. Breakfast was decent -toast, peanut butter, strawberry jam and butter with few slices of fruits and a glass of juice. Free Wi-Fi. Check-out was 12noon but I was late at 1pm. They didn't charge me additional. Would definitely stay here for my next trip in Jakarta.

The best place we have stayed in so far and we are 5 months into our year trip. The facilities were great, compared to other hostels where they advertise a 'cinema' lounge.......you can definitely call Six Degrees TV area a cinema. With at least a few hundred films/TV episodes to watch you're spoilt for choice! The atmosphere is great and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. We did not want to leave! Breakfast was also good which came with fruit, toast, spread and juice. Fantastic!!

Had a really good stay in Jakarta. The hostel was well located for access to transport, and the staff (the sisters) were very helpful with suggestions and travel tips. Very happy that Nemo has had his claws clipped.

Great cinema room with hundreds of films and tv shows to choose from! Tea in proper mugs on tap and nice think bread for the toast and sandwiches! The staff are lovely and even let me gate crash the hostel to visit friends when they run out of rooms! One of the best hostels I've stayed in and EXCELLENT wifi connection which made it easy to Skype home! Two thumbs, WAY up! Skye
