Staff was great. Everyone was helpful and friendly. There was a nice theatre area to watch movies and a pool table. Bathrooms were clean and never busy. Close to the backpackers street. We had a private room and it had no windows but the AC worked well! There are cats around in the hostel so if you have allergies be aware.

SixDegrees is really a great place to stay and probably the best reason for a trip to Jakarta. It's very clean and good situated. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they can give very useful advises. The facilities are excellent and the hostel offers a very good price - value offer. If I would return to Jakarta one day again I would definately stay at SixDegrees again and therefore I can highly recommend to other travellers. Because it's a good place to chill out and just relax!

Everything you need from a hostel and more. Staff we're great and really helpful. Rooms we're clean and had all the little add ons that are handy... bed side light, plug, shelf etc. Next to a travel agent which is handy for onwards journeys and opposite some really good cheap street food. Up there with one of the best hostels we've stayed in. Will be coming back if I'm ever back in Jakarta!

Had a great stay at Six Degrees. The staff were awesomely friendly and helpful. They learned everybodys names and couldnt have been cooler. The hostel is well situated close to yummy food stands and the metro station is only about six minutes by foot. Walking to Gambir took me about 35 minutea but there isnt any sidewalk so youre walking along the busy highway most of the way. Met other travelers at the hostel and had a great time with them. Clean too.

Great wifi and privacy in the dorm room, but overall pricier than I am used to spending in Asia for dorm hostels.

Anna (the breakfast girl) is especially sweet. I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to come back to Jakarta after leaving.

Even though the location isn't very close to the airport and local attractions, the hostel and staff were awesome and we would definitely stay there again. This was the first place we came to after we landed in Indonesia, and the staff greeted us like we had just arrived home! They were very helpful, and the setup of the hostel itself was awesome. We loved the setup of the dorm rooms and how each person had ther own separate space. We also loved relaxing on the rooftop garden. Thank you guys!!

It is a nice hostel and really value for money. It was comfortable staying in the hostel. It should be a pleasant stay but unfortunately my last night there was spoil by other guests who are totally inconsiderate. First of all, the sound proof of the hostel is very bad. Therefore, the noise created by other guests (walking up and down the staircase, shouting, screaming, laughing etc) in the late midnight for about an hour had woken me up from my sleep and cause a sleepless night.

Owner Comment (Show)
Hello. Thank you for choosing Six Degrees, and for taking the time to give some honest feedback. Our apologies about the noise on your last night. Unfortunately sometimes other guests are indeed rather inconsiderate and we're not always available to tell them to shut up! However we have now put some signs up urging people to keep the noise down at night, and we have plans to improve the sound-proofing in the room that you were in. I hope that you'll return to Six Degrees in the future to see (or hear, rather) the difference that this has made. Thanks again, and happy travels!

Great hostel with strong characteristics. Staff are very accommodating. Within the walking distance to Monas and Gambir/ Cikini Railway Station.
