Had a great stay at Six Degrees. The staff were awesomely friendly and helpful. They learned everybodys names and couldnt have been cooler. The hostel is well situated close to yummy food stands and the metro station is only about six minutes by foot. Walking to Gambir took me about 35 minutea but there isnt any sidewalk so youre walking along the busy highway most of the way. Met other travelers at the hostel and had a great time with them. Clean too.

Great wifi and privacy in the dorm room, but overall pricier than I am used to spending in Asia for dorm hostels.

Ran out of room for me in the dorms, but they upgraded me to a private room so it was okay,

Anna (the breakfast girl) is especially sweet. I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to come back to Jakarta after leaving.

Even though the location isn't very close to the airport and local attractions, the hostel and staff were awesome and we would definitely stay there again. This was the first place we came to after we landed in Indonesia, and the staff greeted us like we had just arrived home! They were very helpful, and the setup of the hostel itself was awesome. We loved the setup of the dorm rooms and how each person had ther own separate space. We also loved relaxing on the rooftop garden. Thank you guys!!

Very NICE place to stay n mingle around. Like the pool table, mini table tennis n the movie corner. Bed sunk in when sleeping on it n not very comfy.

It is a nice hostel and really value for money. It was comfortable staying in the hostel. It should be a pleasant stay but unfortunately my last night there was spoil by other guests who are totally inconsiderate. First of all, the sound proof of the hostel is very bad. Therefore, the noise created by other guests (walking up and down the staircase, shouting, screaming, laughing etc) in the late midnight for about an hour had woken me up from my sleep and cause a sleepless night.

Jakarta is a fascinating place but highly inaccessible at the same time with all its pollution and traffic jams. Therefore I found it even more surprising to find such a quality hostel like Six Degrees here. I don't believe I've ever seen a hostel with so many facilities before, and I've been around. On top of that its a very clean place. What really makes this hostel special though is the great staff and the very social atmosphere. I gave this hostel a perfect score, it is simply that good.

One of the nicest hostels I've ever been to. Pod beds with universal outlets (and USB chargers), nice kitchen area, rooftop garden, gym, pool table, and loads of movies. Great place to stay.

One of the best hostels i've stayed in. The staff are great, really friendly and helpful. The dorm i stayed in was great, individual pods with personal fans lights and power points. Roof top is lovely, poole table and cinema are fun and provide excellent place to meet people. Fruit for breakfast is great. I could easily have stayed here for a very long time!

I haven't stayed in other hostels in Jakarta so it's hard to compare.. But the staff was really friendly! The breakfast was good and the free drinking water is really nice :) The showers have hot water and everything is reasonably clean. I would have liked a door for the toilets though.. And maybe a window that can be opened, since my room was a bit musty..

A very clean, well-run hostel with some of the most friendly and helpful staff I've met. They really make you feel like a guest and not just another face. I would definitely rec this hostel to people.

6 degrees was amazing. The staff really went out of their way to help you out and its obvious that they have put a lot of thought into the place. Jakarta is not the best place in the world, but if you're staying in 6 degrees you may actually want to stay longer. Will definitely be back!
