Skanstulls Vandrarhem has been recommended by Hostelworld users for its 'quiet nights' and 'very comfortable beds' in a 'really cool part of Stockholm'. Our guests tell us this hostel is 'very clean, modern and spacious', with a nice kitchen and clean bathrooms and is 'a very safe place with security lockers'. We like that this hostel is off the beaten path but is within walking distance of the city's main attractions, with 'lots of cafés nearby where we could mix with the locals'.

Welcome to Stockholm's new and modern hostel, located in Sofo, Sodermalm, in the heart of Stockholm City, next to the metro station Skanstull.
Here you can enjoy the relaxed, cosy atmosphere or just saunter around in the famous area of Sofo with its culturally diverse shops and cafés.
Our hostel is located in the centre of Sofo, known for being Stockholm's cultural midpoint, with its restaurants, gallerias, music events, bars and odd boutiques. From here it's a short walking distance to (among others) the Old City, The Globe, the royal castle and shopping.
We offer our guests free Internet (stationary computers and Wi-Fi), coffee/tea, laundry, some games, newspapers and magazines, and free access to our homely kitchen, equipped with stove, fridges and microwaves.
We offer cosy rooms with new and modern beds. You can choose to stay in a larger dorm with twelve beds for a cheap price or you can choose to stay in a smaller, more private room. Rooms are of a nice and cosy standard, where we try to create an individual character, interactive for our hostel.
We have separate showers with WC for men and women, lots of WCs in the corridor space and a handicap WC with shower.
We try to keep a high cleanliness standard and want to make sure that our guests sleeps in new and fresh sheets; those you can rent for 50SEK from us, towels for rent are 15SEK.
In our library you can find books in different languages; here you can also lend a book or switch your old book to a new.
A draper's shop is one block away from our hostel; it costs around 95SEK per five kilos of laundry, and we also have ironing facilities.

Latest Review
Very nice new ensuite room but no window so can be clostrophobic. If that is not a problem for you I highyly recomend it.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Check-in: 15:00-20:00 Please note that if you will be arriving later than 20:00, you'll need to contact us in order to get instructions how to get into the hostel. If you arrive earlier than 15:00, you can leave your bags in our safe luggage room.
Payment is due upon arrival. Payment in advance is possible.
The hostel is cleaned during the daytime and shall then be empty between 12.00 and 15.00. We provide cleaning, while you do your own dishes and keep the place tidy.
We have a 24hr cancellation policy. Cancellations should be made no later than 15.00 the day before arrival, unless otherwise agreed. Late cancellations and no-shows shall be charged the equivalent of the first night's accommodation. If you check out before the agreed day we charge for the coming night.
Smoking is not allowed in the hostel! If smoking would occur within the hostel, additional costs for cleaning and laundry will be charged.
We have a handicapped-friendly WC/shower and we're child-friendly with nursery room.
Skanstulls vandrarhem is open 365 days a year from 08:00 - 20.00, no hostel membership is needed.
You're welcome to bring your own clean sheets or rent from us for a price of 50 SEK. No sleeping bags are allowed.
Pets are not allowed.
