I stayed in three different hostels in Dublin and it was the absolutely best place I've been to. The staff was so nice and answered any question, helped whereever you nedded and was friendly even at night! The rooms were amazing having brandnew bathrooms, and the windows directed to a quite street. You just have to walk 2 Minutes till Temple Bar. Best place in Dublin!!!!!!

It was a little loud, but everything else was great. Most of the staff was really nice. Overall, it was a pretty good hostel for the price but right across from a bar so keep that in mind.

I really liked The Liffey, the location is as central as it gets, beds are clean, common area is comfortable, and there's a nice kitchen and breakfast is very decent! Internet wifi was a bit flakey, but probably will be fixed. The staff are really nice, and one even helped me fish out my glasses from under a bunk bed :) thanks!

It was a nice two days. The major complaint was that the shower would suddenly go from comfortable to blistering hot during the shower...both times! We understand it to be under new management and that they are willing to put money into it.

We stayed in this hostel for two nights. First night was in Mixed Room for 6 people. Bathroom in room looked like it was new and it was very clean and nice. The only thing we missed was locker for our stuff. Another room was for two people and with shared bathroom. Room was ok, but bathroom was awful. It was very dirty, I couldn't find balance between hot and cold water. I also couldn't flush toilet :( The best thing was location. Btahroom was really bad and everything else was average.

Great to have a 24 hour reception as our flight was delayed and we were 2 hours late getting into Dublin. Good to have a free breakfast and helpful staff to direct us to bus stations and destinations.

The room I stayed in had the best shower head in the world! Room 12 - 6 bed female dorm with ensuite. Felt like a luxury hotel bathroom rather than a hostel.

The hostel was great. We stayed in an apartment first. I didn't know it had its own kitchen, so we were very pleased. The staff was perfecto and the location asweel. Would definitley stay there again.

It was a very good choice me for. Very close to all tge main atractions in the city. The staff was sometimes a bit lost and could not give much information about the city or explain very clearly the rules of the hostel. The kitchen was very well equipped. Maybe not a good option if you want silence, because there is a traditional irish pub by its side.

Look for the Lifton Lane Hostel - as that's what the banner outside says! Other than that it was a nice place to stay. They have a discount program with a pizza shop next door which was good. Free wifi AND computer access was a nice bonus and the breakfast was adequate. The bathroom on our floor was out of order at the time, but a there was one on the floor below us that was available. Although one of the toilets wouldn't flush!

Great location: very close to O'Connell Street. The rooms are big and there is a very nice, atmospheric common room area on the ground floor (with free internet access). Our only negative experience was showering: the water was alternately boiling hot and freezing cold, a pity really...

It defentively needs a make over, but in fact it is clean and in good location to Temple Bar. For younger people,, not who want to party ..., not for families

Great location, free breakfast and fantastic atmosphere! Loved all the murals and posters on the walls (the ones of David Bowie especially!). The hostel was really close to Temple Bar and Trinity College. the staff were all very nice and helpful and they even took care of my bookings for taxis and tours. Would definitely recommend this place to all music lovers and anyone who wants a decent place in downtown Dublin.

Awesome place to stay, great location, fabulous staff, cracking price. Best place I've stayed in Dublin by far. Showers were a bit grubby tho. apart from that perfect hostel.
