Enjoyed my stay at Sky backpackers! Pro's - fantastic location! 5 minute walk from airlink and aircoach bus stops. Close walking distance to all important sights! - Very clean. - helpful staff. - Great atmosphere. Con's - no lockers in room - mattresses are uncomfortable, you can feel the springs a bit - not very good water pressure in the shower and water takes 5 minutes before it even turns warm.

I had a great time here! It was genuine & welcoming with bright, clean rooms and a great social atmosphere. It was also local to a great dialog sights and bars/restaurants.

...we had a great time, all the staff at the reception were perfectly friendly and any requests were dealt with in literally no time!

Pros: location, friendly staff, Cons: no oven in kitchen, hardly any storage space in kitchen, showers - you could either have hot water or pressure, not both. And they took forever to warm up.

Very nice Hostel. I think that it was recently renewed. The kitchen was huge and also new with a lot of space. The lobby was very well decorated and has space to seat and relax. It is walking distance to the main attractions in Dublin. Staff was always helpful and friendly. It is definitely a recommendable Hostel in Dublin.

Great location! 3 mins from spire, 2 mins walk to temple bar. The staff was always very nice and helpful! Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The only thing I would have liked were lockers and hooks/ shelves in the bathroom or room.

Good location. We were passing through on our honeymoon and Alejandro at the desk gave us two pints of Guinness when we arrived late. Very cool. I'd stay here again.

Great location, right on the River Liffey, directly across from Temple Bar. There are no lockers which first concerned us, being first time travelers, but as long as you have locks on your suitcase you should be fine! Bathrooms and beds were clean, outlets at each bed which was a plus. Casual hang out area which was great for late night conversation with other travelers. Would definitely come back!

Would recommend hostel, location and facilities were great. Only down side was that the room was boiling hot at night and we couldn't sleep properly, the reception didn't have any fans. We did stay in the summer, but it wasn't too hot outside. I am sure this is only an is sure in the summer.

We were in a 6 bed dorm, the location is great, a very short walk across to Temple Bar and other attractions. The Staff were friendly, answering any questions we had or making recommendations too. The place was also clean and generally well kept, with the Kitchen being a stand out, possibly one of the best kitchens in any hostel. Unfortunately, the beds were rickety metal bunk beds that squeaked every time you moved, no lockers either. The place lacked atmosphere despite good social areas.

Breakfast was good. Location was good, but very loud from the bar next door. The room was very warm with no ventilation. The bathroom was ensuite, which is nice, but had very poor lighting, and no bathmats or towels. The shower was slow to heat and had very little pressure. My mattress was very uncomfortable with pointy springs. There appeared to be events and activities planned by the staff, but we weren't made aware of them.

The rooms are spacious and basic. I loved having a private bathroom! The showers were pretty clean and someone was in to clean each morning. Everyone I met at this hostel was super cool and we got to enjoy wine and cheese night!

No storage at all in the rooms, not even a shelf. Same for washrooms. Room was hot and stuffy. No personal light or shelf for bed. Bright night light in room.

Bed had a stain on the sheets. It had clearly been washed but the stain would need to be removed

This hostel is in a great location that makes walking around the city easy. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable on where to go and what to see. There is plenty of social space which makes it easier to meet people. The only downside was the computers weren't working in the common area.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience. The room was awesome (besides it being a little too warm) and the staff was friendly as could be. Next time I return to Dublin, I will definitely be staying here.

No lockers in the room, bizarre window that wasn't just open /close. Tonnes of stairs (can't be helped but no lift) and the key card I was given didn't work first time. Staff were distracted so service wasn't great.

Comfy, clean, friendly and great location. Perfect, especially for the Tartan Army.

Breakfast and a few travel tips upon arrival would have made it one of the best we stayed at. Air conditioning would have helped too. Leaving the window open is very loud.

Very nice and helpful staff. There didn't seem to be many young people staying while we were there, which made for a mediocre atmosphere, but overall nice location.
