They are apparently working on their weaknesses, but still have ways to go.

nice location but dirty and very very loud (just a thin wooden door seperates you from the loud busses on the street).

Very, very basic living conditions. If you need a place to sleep - it's your choice. There is no hostel atmosphere as such, the conditions are very simple, you will have breakfast at the hostel down the street, the rooms and their status - very simple. BE CAREFUL! Directions to Sky - Hostel WRITTEN WRONG! We are very lucky, we were asked to take us to the address, otherwise, focusing on the map, we would have never found this hostel (((And arrived in Tel Aviv at 3 am

One of the shittiest places I've stayed at in Western countries. I had bites from bed bugs all over my arms and legs the next morning. DO NOT STAY THERE unless you have no other choice.

I booked this hostel due to the very good reviews - and was more than disappointed! The only good part is the location. The place is not at all clean, the bathroom facilities pretty disgusting, and the room was even worse. Even the provided blankets were so thin that both my friend and me slept in our sweaters and were still freezing at night! The staff was not very helpful, we had to pay for luggage storrage and they "forgot" to tell us about the breakfast we were entitled to. Don't go there!!!

This doesn't feel like a "youth hostel" by any means. At least it didn't feel this way when I stayed here in January (it might be different in the summer months, who knows). THE ONLY REASON I'm rating "character" and "atmosphere" so low is because I'm basing my opinion on the presumption that "youth hostels" need a certain feel that this place is clearly lacking. Now, that said, if what you want is some peace and quite, then it'd be an excellent choice. I felt this was a good place to think.
