It is a bit far from the city center. You should walk for 15 to 20 mins through the bridge (It is beautiful!) to get there. However, the atmosphere was quiet nice, so I liked staying here actually. It is calm and cozy. nearby you can find a graveyard park(?) where H.C. Andersen is buried. Wifi works very well in the room and staffs were very nice and helpful when I asked something. Just don't forget bringing your own linens otherwise you should pay for your bed linens there.

Only stayed one night so hard to give a long review. We stayed there in the low season and I think it was good value for the money. It's in a bit of an odd location but I quite like it, and even if it's not the most interesting hostel I've ever stayed at I would still recommend if it anyone asked for a good place to stay in Copenhagen.

Hostel made a booking error, and we were left with a twin room for the first night, despite booking a double. Owner said this was a known issue, but we never received a call/email to clarify what we wanted. With consideration to the free breakfast offered, we found the experience to be of poor value. The room was isolated in another building, and quite antisocial.

Excellent place and not too far away from downtown (fairly short walking distance). Nice staff, no curfews, cheap coffee / beer / wine at the reception and it's open almost anytime.

This Hostel was lovely. It was strange because some rooms were in a different building, but. They were really nice, clean, modern. The staff was engaged in the experience of their guests. Knowledgeable about anything you could have asked them. I spent a night or two inside (it does rain a lot in Copenhagen!) and it was genuinely nice to do so. It is close enough to everything that you can walk most places in 20 minutes, yet tucked into a unique and quiet neighborhood. I would stay here again.

I thought the hostel security was excellent. However, I wish there had been a kitchen and perhaps in a slightly better location, but I know it's hard to fix that. Had an awesome time there.

The best hostel in copenhagen! It is located in a very nice neighbourhood, with alot of interesting activities. I would never have gotten to know the Real copenhagen if it wasnt for sleep in heaven, and its great location!!

was a great location, and rooms were spacious and clean, from what we have been told it was the newer section. ladies bathrooms were terribly lit, and flooded easily, which made it quite unpleasant to shower. beers were cheap for the city, but not much going on in the public area. stafff were friendly and helpful.

The hostel is perfect! Nice staff, clean rooms and bathroom also. Only one thing is the location, little bit far from the central station. Beside bus 250s, 5A and 66 are both possible to get there~

Even though the hostel did not have a guest kitchen, you could still bring in food and the hostel offered you plates and cutlery etc. The location of the place is really nice, you get to see so much more than just the city center, Norrebro is full of cafes and bars and shops. The staff was awesome and helpfull. And they had a real Christmas feeling at the hostel with all the decorations. I would go back in a heart beat!

Room was so cold and small. Bathrooms were dirty and smelly. I dreaded coming back to the hostel each night.

PROS; great location - walking distance to basically everything, friendly staff, great common room (although only open til 2am), no curfew, wifi in the dorms CONS: showers were tepid at best, you have to hire bed linen (even if you bring a sleeping bag), breakfast costs about €5 per day, no free tea and coffee, also you are charged 4% for booking when you get there if you plan to pay with credit card so I suggest you bring cash.

no kitchen and no organized activities i.e. pub crawls or walking tours. 2 for 1 happy hour is nice and the electronic locker and room cards were great. having to pay for bedsheets was annoying. two separate buildings but the bathrooms were large in nice in the one separate from the office.
