It took me a while to find but I eventually got there by foot, about 20-25 minute walk from the town hall square. Very friendly guy at reception and the layout of the main area really helped create a nice, young, and fun atmosphere. The room was fine, I was assigned the middle bed of the three tier bunk beds, where I found that being tall was not a good thing. The rooms are not very sound proof either, you can hear music and chatting from the main area. Good safe lockers. Decent breakfast.

Rooms & bathrooms very good, electronic keycard for the lockers is a nice touch but the lockers themselves were small - tight for a 65L rucksack! Breakfast overpriced. Location quite far out, near to a bus stop but 25min walk into town.

We had an awesome experience at Sleep in Heaven. The personnel is always willing to help us and give us information about the city. The hostel is nice and there always is a good ambiance. The only thing that made things complicated is that there is no kitchen in the hostel. It would be nice to have at least a refrigerator to keep the fresh products.. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable anyway !

Located in a pretty cool area! The bar has a happy hourr I'm 7-8 which is great! They offer Danish beer so a chance to sample local stuff! I rented a bike one day which was excellent! Except the lights on the bike didn't work, but I was able to switch bike relatively easily. Only real complaint is that it was very loud at night!

Good price considering it is Copenhagen. Rooms are quite small but at the end of the day they are just for sleeping in! It's not to far to walk to the train station and Christiana from here. Cheap supermarkets are close but hostel has no cooking facilities. Atmosphere was quite good, especially after the wifi went down haha

Location wasn't the best. Also got put into a female dorm, but had booked a mix dorm. Was in the new part of the hostel, so felt quite isolated compared to the main part. Difficult to meet people. There was construction outside the room as well so it was difficult to sleep. Otherwise a pretty decent hostel! Showers were nice and clean.

Great hostel with nice rooms, a sociable lounge area and a good bar with decent priced drinks and happy hour everyday! Slightly out of the city centre but in a trendy area. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place was always clean. A nice atmosphere, not bad when you're trying to get some sleep, but also easy to meet some fun like minded people!

Everything fine but it's useful to write somewhere that reception it's closed between 2am and 7am to those people who have plane during night.

Great location: slightly removed from the downtown so that it feels less touristy, but still close enough to walk (or take the metro)! Wonderful outdoor space, very clean, friendly staff & good happy hour deals! Cons: This place has the dreaded three-level bunks. No safety railing & the first night I was there someone rolled / fell out of it onto concrete floor. No privacy curtains on the beds. Showers could use curtains between the shower & changing area to keep out the draft / keep things dry.

One of the best hostels I've been so far. Great atmosphere. It's easy to get in touch with people. The communal area is absolutely cozy and nice! The only thing I did not like was the outsourced part of the hostel. Though it was not too far away it was still inconvenient to be in another building than the main one with the reception and the bar etc.

Terribly rude customer service. Double booked, took my money anyway and didn't have a bed for me. Avoid this hostel if possible.

Situated in a great area, although if centrality is what you're after this is a bit further out. Big lockers which was a plus, comfy atmosphere. Overall quiet happy with my stay at this hostel.

An great hostel for Copenhagen. You're bound to have a group night almost every night, and the happy hour at the hostel is great. I'll definitely be back

Positive points: - Nice and helpful staff. - Breakfast is good - fruit, milk, coffee, tea, bread, ham, cheese, cereals (50 DKK/5£). - Private toilet/hall for the double rooms. Negative points: - Dirty bedroom (plastic cups with lipstick on it and dirty make-up remover on the floor) - No showers for the double rooms (I had to cross all the living room to the other side of the hostel to take shower)

Sleep in Heaven was a fantastic hostel except for a couple of things; there is no kitchen and it is a long way out of the city centre. The location is not bad if you're just visiting Copenhagen but if you've been travelling, walking long distances for weeks, the distance can be a bit painful. The staff will loan you plates and cutlery to prepare food on but you cannot even use their fridge. Cleanliness, security, atmosphere were all excellent. The staff were very helpful.

In my room there was triple bunk beds so I felt like I'm literally sleeping in heaven by sleeping at third level :) besides from having some staircases, it was a really nice stay. Sometimes it can get noisy in chilling room and i suggest bringing earplugs as a solution, or you can buy them here with a little amount. I really enjoyed the staff, they are so helpful about everything. Showers can be better with curtains but with a little wall your things don't get wet when you are showering.
