In a cool neighborhood, nicely decorated, clean, lockers. Not allowed to drink your own alcohol in the hostel because they want you to buy theirs at the bar (30 Kroner a drink, same as the average bar). Difficult to find, instructions on hostelworld were not clear, very small sign outside.
This was an expensive stay. I stayed for about five days, and I've never paid so much for a hostel....let alone a 12 head room. The room smelled like buttcrack half the time and the bathrooms were not the cleanest things in the world. also, co-ed bathrooms. weird if you don't realize at first. breakfast costs like ten euros for rolls, ham, salami, cheese, some cereals and coffee. for an extra six bucks you can get a croissant. i suppose those are just danish/scandinavian prices. staff was ok.
I had a great stay here and even came back the next week, even though I was planning to stay somewhere else. I really enjoy the atmosphere - very friendly, inviting and relaxed. I appreciate that the bedding is in good shape, the rooms are big and the facilities are close to the rooms and clean. There is a really nice outdoor courtyard, a lounge, and a place to eat, either food from the bar or you can bring in your own. Nørrebro is a great neighborhood, close to all the sights and bars.
Good rate for quality/price. Excellent staff and very friendly atmosphere. A good way to visit this lovely city within an affordable price.
Both the rooms and bathroom were clean. The dorm I stayed in was in a different building than the reception, but this did not cause any problems, all doors were safely locked and needed to be opened with your room key. Only thing is that the WIFI did not work very well, other than that, I had a pleasant stay at this hostel.
Simple but well done, friendly staff and atmosphere, new and very clean.
Really nice and clean hostel with a good atmosphere. Perfect if you're doing it on a budget as it's considerably cheaper than places right in the city centre. Extremely easy to find from the airport (instructions are on their website) and it's only a 15-20 minute walk from the city centre. I'd definitely stay again :)
The hostel provides a lot of helpfull information concerning the things you can do in the surrounding area. They also provide guided walks and bikes for rent. The beds were rather poor quality. The breakfast is all-you-can-eat which is quite cheap for 50 DKK. All in all I can recommand the hostel especially for it's good location in the nice quater Norrebro and close to the graveyard!
I really enjoyed my time here although it's only for a night. The setting of the place is very vibrant and although I wasn't looking to social with others in the lounge, it certainly set up a very good kind of mood. I will definitely be back if I visit Copenhagen in the future.
