Not too far from the metro but need to change a few times from HBF so can take time but 10 euros a night is pretty tidy. Clean enough.
impressed with the Hostel for such a good price. supermarkets close by in either direction, close to train station and on main bus route to centre. beds and room were good, along with kitchen area. nice reception area where people met to use the wifi. Could do with lockers in room.
As the name tells, it's a place for a cheap sleep and only. There were no lockers in the 10 beds dormitory. Staff recommended me to use lockers from other rooms but there weren't any avaiable. Location is not the most central one, but really close to public transportation so you can easily go everywhere.
This hostel was a lot better than I expected. It is so cheap and close to the ZOB which was handy if you're catching an early morning bus. People seemed to get annoyed by having to pay for sheets an extra charge of €2.5. Overall for a couple of nights it was fine, my a very good hostel atmosphere though, if you're there to make friends I wouldn't count on it.
Common rooms and dorms were very neat and clean, only the bathroom floor was a bit dirty. The hostel was not very crowded when I stayed there, but I think there are too few bathrooms/toilets and I think when it's full that it will become a bit problematic. But that's the only not-so-good-think I've noticed, besides, this is a great place to stay. The staff was very nice, helpful and unproblematic. I can recommend this hostel!
I didn't spend much time in the hostel, because I was wandering in Berlin. I only slept there. But it is a nice place to stay. .The staff is polite. The people I met were cool.
Just far off the downtown area - welcoming staff was rude - lady made it a bit better.

The location is good, the staff is by far the unfriendliest I've come across during my travels. No lockers in the room, the guest areas are easily accessible by strangers. No communal areas except the entrance hall. It was ok for one night, but definitely not more.
The toilet is quite clean, and the room space is more than enough for backpacker. Highly recommended, except its location.
Facililtis were very clean. You have to share them with the other gender. I was very surpirsed about an extra charge of around 3 Euro for bed sheets. I slept in the 4th floor and the noise and vibration from the Autobahn nearby was too much for me. I had the worst sleep ever in a hostel. And I've been to nearly over 60 hostels in my life now.
A great place to stay in Berlin. Extremely cheap, dorms were simple but okay, beautiful house, close to train station, no curfew. Probably not really suited to other meet travellers, but rather a place to crash after a long day in Berlin.
The location is near to an S-bahn station but it is not in a nice place of the city, the bad point is the cleanliness of the bathroom, showers are very uncomfortable. An other desappointment is the price, they offer a night at 10 € but it is not what you really pay. The shits are not included but as you are not allowed to use a sleeping bag, you actually have no other choice than paying for the shits. The breakfast is not included (logic with such a price) but it is very expansive if you want it
This hostel was pretty average. Not ideal for a group of young people as the staff were quite strict on noise levels etc. the rooms were clean as were the bathroom facilities. you can only get wifi in the reception area not in the rooms. right beside the train station that gets you to Berlin town.
the kitchen is small and missing basics such as forks(!!). the staff is very unkind and unhelpful, dont know places around town or basic directions. when asking for help they mostly send you to he internet,or make you wait long while making faces for you asking their help. bathhrooms clean yet not always with toilet paper or light, not enough plugs in a room to charge phones. the place is only available by stairs,no elivator and no way for disabled people to get to their rooms.

Sleep Cheap was a great hostel for doing exactly that - finding a cheap place to sleep. It's a u-Bahn out of the city centre (maybe 15 minutes) but for a good price that's really fine. The rooms were good - comfy beds and super clean showers. It is however right next to a main road which had permanent sirens going down it - couldn't hear them in my room but friends were bothered by it. The best thing for us was the people we met there - all awesome and ended up carrying on our travels together!
Good hotel, very, very cheap for Berlin; prices are going up in this formerly cheap city. It is not close to the centre but right outside the S-Bahn, so you cannot walk around and you will have to pay for transport tickets. Rooms are clean and correct, you are just paying less because the location is not excellent, so it is bloody well worth it unless you are rich (not me!) Besides, Charlottenburg palace is 5m walk, with the most beautiful gardens in Berlin and cheap places to eat.
it was far from center, building quite old my dorm room is fine and very big, kitchen need to be improve!
Good location of the hostel, good value for money and clean rooms. There was too much noise from the street and no hangers in one of the two bathrooms, but besides that I would recommend it for all the travelers who need a cheap place for sleeping.
You sleep cheap, great place to stay.. Cafe next door was sweet.
The room we slept in was tiny and just on the main road, which was unbelievably noisy. From 6am trucks make the windows vibrate. There is no internet in the room, only in the lobby where people come and go. It’s close to the S-bahn but not close to any nice part of Berlin and the area itself is really ugly. I shouldn’t have expected much from a “sleepcheap” hotel but it was not even cheap compared to others. Absolutely not good value for money in my view. Nothing like how it reads in the add!
