We had booked a private room for two people and we got a very nice apartment just around the corner of the hostel. The hostel is located in the very old city of Lübeck, and the surroundings are awesome.

We had a cute apartment with fridge & en-suite facilities. The apartment was clean & centrally located in the old city and close to the station as well.

It doesn't have much backpacker spirit but, anyway, is a good option to stay in Lübeck. The best thing is the location, just in the centre of the town. It would have been much better if there was a kitchen where it was possible to cook, because the oven was a little old and the microwave oven was good only if you need some light. Very quiet and very nice place to stay anyway, though the spirit wasn't the same (traveler/backpacker) that you can find in other hostels.

I rang the hostel to say that i would be late, arriving at 8pm instead of 6pm and the woman was rude and said she was going to give the room away. I hope I am not charged for this.

It was nice and clean with a good location for a great price. The beds were a little uncomfortable though and we didn\'t get a key to lock our door.

I didn´t get a key for my room, just for the house. But when I came back from town in the evening my room was locked anyway. I was lucky the owner was still there. If not i wouldn´t have had a bed for the night!

Only thing which was not perfect at our accommodation was the regulation of cold and warm water at the shower. Taking a shower doe´s cost you a lot of time and nerves and you are wasting water playing on the drain instead of taking a shower. The hostel is really good and perfect located. We have enjoyed our stay at Lübeck and Travemünde a lot.

Great hostel. Central, clean and fantastic value for money. However no lockers and the shower wasn't great and had no lock on the door.
