A very nice place to stay, rooms are clean and tidy and Ronnie and his family are very accommodating. The centre is just around the corner up a small hill and there\'s a bus stop down the road that goes up to Monteverde. We used their Jeep boat Jeep (bus boat bus) service to La Fortuna and stayed in their sister hostel there which was also nice.

We arrived when it was raining very, very heavily. There was water dripping from the ceiling in one part of the private room. I did see just one cockroach. Otherwise, the place was clean and very conveniently located, with free internet access. The host was friendly and breakfast included :)

The staff were really helpful, the breakfast is great and is overall good value for money! However the hostel lacks character and the walls are thin so you can hear what everyone else is saying which may lead to some sleepless nights.

Dorms are ok, although a bit noisy and there was mildew on a wall. A little off \"city center\", but nothing to be worried about. Staff is very, very helpful.

This hostel was awesome! The family that owned it was really friendly. There is wifi and a computer and free breakfast. It is also near a lot of cool things in Monteverde. The only thing I might recommend is a latter for the top bunk of the bunk bed because it is really high and I struggled with getting up there. If I am ever in Monteverde again this is where I would stay.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful, I only stayed one day so they booked the tours before I arrived without problems. The rooms are cosy and the view is great. The breakfast was delicious.

We loved the Sleeper location in Monteverde. The decor is charming, everything is tidy, breakfast was awesome and we had an absolutely stunning view. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Of the four hostels we have visited so far in Costa Rica, this location was the best by far!

Very nice helpful staff and the best hostel breakfast ever...fresh tropical fruit, cereal followed by eggs and toast. If the rooms were painted it would look so much better but its clean which is whats most important.

The best hostel I´ve stayed at. Best breakfast...eggs on toast, granola, fruit. Such a warm family. Helped us book everything. Ronny and his wife were amazing. Our room was even cleaned every day....luxury service! Would definitely recommend this hostel. Great location, close to everything e.g. supermarket, the town.

This is a good, basic place to stay. All tours can be arranged by the staff and things worked out remarkably well. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering and the breakfast in the morning is great. Would stay here again!

This place was TERRIBLE. The best thing I can say is that the shower was hot and there was plenty of pressure. Aside from that, the staff was cold and not very helpful. My room stank of mold, mildew, and unaired room. They also left the doors open all day to let in freezing air. The hostel was surrounded by broken bottles, garbage, and little piles of debris. The free breakfast was also lame. I would have checked out after my first night but I´d already paid in full. You get what you pay for.
