The best hostel I´ve stayed at. Best breakfast...eggs on toast, granola, fruit. Such a warm family. Helped us book everything. Ronny and his wife were amazing. Our room was even cleaned every day....luxury service! Would definitely recommend this hostel. Great location, close to everything e.g. supermarket, the town.

This place was TERRIBLE. The best thing I can say is that the shower was hot and there was plenty of pressure. Aside from that, the staff was cold and not very helpful. My room stank of mold, mildew, and unaired room. They also left the doors open all day to let in freezing air. The hostel was surrounded by broken bottles, garbage, and little piles of debris. The free breakfast was also lame. I would have checked out after my first night but I´d already paid in full. You get what you pay for.

Ronny and his family were very friendly. Location is good (close to supermarket and stores). They could use a better tv/hangout space to spice things up at night. Showers were very hot! *Bad thing--The room smelled moldy and you could see where they had cleaned it off the walls.

Very friendly staff that are always around to answer any questions or help with any tour bookings. Breakfast includes cereal with fresh fruit and omelettes and toast. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Overall, we had a very good experience at Sleepers, and Ronny and his family helped us a lot. There were issues like the wind howling loudly at night outside our window, but I don't know that any other place would've been quieter. It was hard to get a recommendation from Ronny that would endorse one activity in Monteverde over other similar ones, but if you know what you want to do, he'll definitely help you arrange it.

Ronny and his family are incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped us book all our actvities, as well as a shuttle to our next destination. We really enjoyed staying at Sleepers.

I stayed at Sleepers for three nights. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and there was always hot water in the showers. I liked the smaller dorm rooms (I was in the four bed dorms) and the free breakfast was great. The lovely owners of the hostel are what give it its character. They were very helpful with recommendations for tours and booked the tours for me. Great experience overall.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Ronnie and his wife run a great hostel, and for the price, you can't beat it. Security is tight, breakfast is delicious, and the view from our room was epic. Breakfast was delicious, as well. Met some really cool people here. And they give you a discount on the Extremo Sports ziplining.

I have stay in a few hostels in costa rica in the past week and a half and I must say this hostel is the cleanest (in term of your own personal room and bathroom). I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast provide every morning, and the owner of the hostel is very friendly/knowledgeable about the area/good with communication.

Really great family home with very friendly staff, willing to help with organising tours and transport. Hvaing access to the kitchen and free wi-fi is also a bonus, and the breakfasts were really delicious! For the price, this is a fantastic hostel, with spacious rooms and nice modern bathrooms. Also has a good loctaion, just a few minutes walk from the town centre and supermarket.

Very nice hostel. It didn't look great from the outside but inside was very smart and clean. The hot showers and free breakfast were great. The staff were very friendly and they organized tours for us with some discounts.
