The bathroom sink doesn't have hot water, but the showers do. The beds are comfortable, and the temperature is fine. There is free internet (no wifi, but you can plug into ethernet in computer area). There are no nets on the windows, so if you open the bathroom windows like I did, moths and mosquitoes will infest your room. The place is really a house where the owner and his family live. So there are kids running around screaming all day, and evening, which a lot of the guests found annoying.

The four-bed female dorm is so tiny that there is no way four people and their bags could fit unless you step on top of everything. The hot shower is a BIG plus as it is hot and the pressure is good. The breakfast is good if you can have it as it starts at 6am but if you have an early bus or activity, forget about it. The worst thing was the screaming kid who would not shut up. The corridor smelt like cigarette smoke. For $7 per night you get what you paid for. Tour organising is fantastic

I really loved this place. I felt like i was visiting family. This place is family owned and operated and the owners live there too, their kids are adorable. Rodney is really cool, ask him anything you need, he will make it happen. Thanks guys...xoxoox..:-)

They need screens in the windows to keep out the mosquitoes. No one was there except for me...and their kids - who are really cute - but screamed and ran around the house for three hours in the evening. If these things don't bother you - stay there - they are really helpful and sweet people.

A really nice, quiet place- I really appreciate that this is far from a party hostel. Also, I feel it is worth noting: GREAT showers, hot water, high water pressure which is not only hard to find in the hostel realm but also is very clutch after a day of hiking.

Ronnie and his family are amazing. You are very close to town and it is a great location. Hostel is very clean and small and quiet, no party vibe. Then again it was the low season. Wonderful stay!

the family and breakfast were great but there wasnt a lot to do. it would be a lot better if they had a cushioned couch in the common area too.
