I loved this place, it was more like a home than a hostel. It has a large kitchen which is great for socialising & the breakfast selection was great too. It's within walking distance of the main attractions & the train station. Karl was very friendly & helpful, would definitely recommend it.

Karel is a great host, very kind and trusting, and nice to talk to. He is knowledgeable about the city, and has a plethora of resources about Brussels available. His dog is very sweet, and the breakfast he provides is above expectations (artisan jam, speculoos, peanut butter, two kinds of artisan bread, variety of fruits). The hostel itself has great décor, and the bedrooms are well-maintained and comfortable.

The guesthouse has character,as does the owner,Karel, which I like! They even have a a dog who hides from attention in the mornings, but is friendly in the afternoons! The best part of the house is the kitchen,it is large, homely with big windows. The garden was a nice surprise,a space of green between the surrounding buildings. The rooms were okay,as was the bathroom, also the house generally has a good feel! One small thing-repair the upstairs toilet door,it 's hard to lock and creaks loudly!

This hostel is actually a really great art deco house and has a very homely feel to it, the owner lives there and is very helpful. Nice place to relax, meet people - It's not a party hostel. If I came to Brussels again I would definitely stay here again!

I had a very good stay. If nothing were changed I would still recommend this hostel to all my friends. The owner made me feel like family. It would be good if there were lockers in the hostel, but I still felt it was very safe.

Good atmosphere and access to cooking facilities was good. Unfortunately, storage facilities for your stuff was quite limited .

Perhaps the best hostel I have ever lived. A very nice, beautiful house with a garden. Host is friendly and laid-back. There is a lovely dog. Feels like home. It's well worth the price.

It was very nice hostel. The building is so nice with a beautiful garden and a dog. Breakfast was above my expectations. The hostel is 30 - 45 mins walk distance from grand square, it is also acceptable distance.

A great place to stay in Brussels. It feels more like a cross between a B&B and a hostel than an outright hostel and for some that might not be what you're looking for, but I found it awesome. The closest thing to a downside I could name is that it's about a 500m walk from a metro stop, but that's not too daunting.

More than a hostel, Sleephere is a private home stay situated in a very nice area of central Brussels. The stay was very private and warmly welcomed, with kitchen and fridge that the guests can share with the owner of the place. Kitchen and dinning table is shared with all of the guests (maximum 12 I believe) hence allowing much more casual conversations between guests than typical large hostels. I can not recommend Sleephere more !

The people in that house are very friendly and you're welcomed like you're part of the family. In that atmosphere also the breakfast is informal and you can take the opportunity to talk to other guests in this house. They're coming from all over the world. The place is easy to find and some of the sights of Brussels (like the palace of justice) are only a 10 minutes walk away.

Sleephere is wonderful! It is a hostel/bed&breakfast that feels like home. The kitchen is wonderful and you get to meet other travelers there. The location is great, very near to the city centre and in a charming street full of beautiful buildings. If you're in Brussels and would like a quiet but amazing place to stay, go to Sleephere!
