Out of all hostels I've stayed at, Sleephere was by far my favourite. The reception was great and I really felt like I was at home. Breakfasts were always something worth looking forward to and the owner and his dog always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. There was also plenty of legroom and the hostel was not too far from the station or city making it easy to get around. Would definitely stay here again!

A very comfortable hostel run by a very friendly and helpful man. It really feels like you're a guest in somebody's house here. The historical center is not so far by foot, maybe a 20 minute walk. Worth the comfortable stay, nice bathrooms, and big kitchen. Could use lockers or something for valuables.

I thought Karel was extremely friendly and knowledgable. He gave me a map and marked all the places I was interested in and told me how to get there. I also found the location to be excellent, very close to everything. Only complaint is that its almost always fully booked and difficult to get a place.

Oh man this has got to be the best hostel/B&B that I've stayed in. Karel, the owner, was extremely friendly. He would go out of his way to assist you. All the rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms were immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable, location was great and to top it off there's even a cool dog! I miss this place already...

Can't really even qualify this as a hostel. Best place I have stayed in Europe and it feels like your own little home for the weekend! The beds are AMAZING and Karel is such a gracious host. Would come back to Brussels if only just to stay at Sleephere again!

I thought the place was great. It was very laid back and relaxed witha homely atmosphere about it. I loved Cesar (the dog) and Karl was very helpful and accomadating. I would reccomend this to anyone wanting a good place to stay in an area you can be close to some main shopping areas for Brussels. However, it was slightly obscure to find (though it was good to have been given a email before coming with exact directions etc). I would have liked a secure storage facility but this was minor.

If more people in the travel/turism bussiness understood the rols they paly the way Karel Mondt (manager and owner of the Sleephe @ La Source B&B) does, not just travelling, but living life would be such a more beautiful experience. And I'm not exagerating. I highly recomend this place and the comapny of it's owner and his dog!
